Nepenthe 07-19-2007 10:45 PM

in dargons secret purse of music that is better than you and all of your friends and family combined

Apocalyptic Raids 07-19-2007 11:25 PM
im pretty sure it isnt improvised **** anyways, where did you get that idea Dargon? it is just rough ideas he had that would later become songs.
I heard the lyrics were, if there are any. I don't really remember those demos that well.
I want to hear those...any idea where I can find them?
In that Soundtrack To The Apocalypse boxset. They're all over Soulseek too.

Totenkrieg 07-19-2007 11:40 PM

lyrics probably are but most of it is instrumental

FatalEnergy 07-20-2007 01:26 AM

That version of Spill the Blood is awesome. Totally different the South of Heaven one.

Dargon II 07-20-2007 05:59 AM
lyrics probably are but most of it is instrumental
yeah I was referring to the lyrics not the riffs.

Stoic 07-21-2007 01:34 PM

Posting here to say that Dargon's thrash taste owns hard (I'll e-mail you as soon as I have my music settled in this new PC ;)) and that I can fully identify with Extreme Aggression, both musically and lyrically. Supreme piece of music \m/

Dimmu Burger 07-21-2007 09:03 PM

I like Norther, does anybody else?

FatalEnergy 07-21-2007 09:04 PM

No, and they aren't thrash.

Totenkrieg 07-21-2007 09:04 PM

why the **** are you talking about Norther in the thrash thread?

Dimmu Burger 07-21-2007 09:05 PM

They seem to have some thrashy riffs, but I'm new to them, so if you could direct me to the appropriate thread I would appreciate it.

Totenkrieg 07-21-2007 09:06 PM

You could actually be productive you know.

Dargon II 07-21-2007 09:25 PM

he's right, either that or the Melodeath fags probably like them

NP: Sabbat - I for and Eye

**** yes

pate 07-22-2007 07:35 PM

Sabbat is great.

Dimmu Burger 07-22-2007 07:40 PM

That makes me think of the tall guy with the eye patch from Street Fighter II.

Apocalyptic Raids 07-23-2007 01:45 AM

Sabbat sucks. I never, ever got into that band at all.

Nostalgia 07-23-2007 01:51 AM

The vocals get a tad lame from time-to-time.

Dargon II 07-23-2007 07:02 AM

ignore aids, he's a pretentious wigger. Both the UK and JAP sabbats are very good, I think I prefer the JAP one a little more though.
Sabbat sucks. I never, ever got into that band at all.
Sort it out! Sabbat are amazing. Everyone should love Dreamweaver and History of a Time to Come.

pate 07-23-2007 01:00 PM

I've never heard the Jap one, but the UK one is killer.

Bazarov 07-23-2007 01:05 PM

I've never been able to locate the Japanese Sabbat either. As for the British Sabbat, I only have A History of a Time to Come, and I find it average.

Dargon II 07-23-2007 01:09 PM

I wish the average thrash album was as good at HoaTtC.

Bazarov 07-23-2007 01:12 PM

I guess I could give it another listen, maybe my opinion will change. I've not listened to that album in quite a bit of time. I really only remember Church Bizarre being a good song.

Dargon II 07-23-2007 01:13 PM

try Horned is the Hunter and Hoseanna in Excelsis

FatalEnergy 07-23-2007 03:39 PM

Do Dark Horses Dream of Nightmares is my favorite by them.

I hope they tour or do another album or something.

metal-militia 07-23-2007 04:13 PM

They opened up for Cradle of Filth last year in December I think. I contemplated going but deiced not to as I didn't want to travel across the country to see 45 minutes of a support band for so much money.

TojesDolan 07-23-2007 10:00 PM

Lair of the minotaur.

FatalEnergy 07-23-2007 10:13 PM
Lair of the minotaur.
Suck a lot? Yeah, I know.
