Jimbobntnr 10-03-2006 02:30 PM

yeah. It was called Pearl Red or something.

Spaceman Spiff 10-03-2006 02:31 PM

I can't wait until this Friday because my friends will be back from Ottawa for Thanksgiving weekend. :D

I'll finally get to see them again after a month without them. There's actually no one at my school who I want to hang out with and become friends with, so I shall enjoy the time when they're around.

PietroCrespi 10-03-2006 02:33 PM

Then I wouldn't blame you for strangling someone.

BenJammin 10-03-2006 02:56 PM

So your black bass used to be red? :|

Damn.

Jimbobntnr 10-03-2006 02:58 PM

yeah, a really nice red. pffft.

BenJammin 10-03-2006 03:00 PM

Wow, shafted.

PietroCrespi 10-03-2006 03:03 PM

Wow... seems like 25% of the guitar forum is banned.

PietroCrespi 10-03-2006 03:29 PM

That's like 4 school violence/weapon related incidents in 4 school days!

Ah! The apocalypse is coming!

BenJammin 10-03-2006 03:30 PM

It's pretty typical, really. When one shooting occurs and gets national/international coverage, there are always people who chose that time to copy-cat.

PietroCrespi 10-03-2006 03:32 PM

Yeah, but usually it's like half-baked schemes and the kids don't really go through with it. People were killed on Thursday, Friday, and Monday, which is weird.

DISCLAIMER: I don't really think the apocalypse is coming.

PietroCrespi 10-03-2006 03:32 PM

I still wonder how the police got called to the Amish town.

Yeah... that is true. Hmm.

BenJammin 10-03-2006 03:39 PM

God! I love Manring so much.

Jimbobntnr 10-03-2006 03:41 PM

has anyone here ever installed the individual type bridges? Where there's one per string?

bottlerocket 10-03-2006 03:46 PM

Monorail bridges?

Jimbobntnr 10-03-2006 03:46 PM

sure.
I still wonder how the police got called to the Amish town.
a teacher was able to sneak out and run to a nearby farmhouse that had a phone.

Thonk 10-03-2006 03:52 PM

I, myself, wouldn't try it.

I guarentee I'd mess it up somehow. What are you trying to put them on?

Jimbobntnr 10-03-2006 03:54 PM

I'm just looking into them for a project. I am curious about the grounding, and whether I would have to route 4 cables for them.

FunkMetalBass 10-03-2006 03:55 PM
sure.
Yes, those are the ones you are referring to.
a teacher was able to sneak out and run to a nearby farmhouse that had a phone.
BLASPHEMY! That teacher is going to Mennonite Hell.

DaveSavesTheDay 10-03-2006 03:56 PM

Is it possible to hook up my stero system to my computer?

Chameleon 10-03-2006 03:56 PM

Yeah so...what the hell is going on over there with all these shootings?

And have you all heard any updates on the casualties from Pennsylvania? Last I heard over here was the 5 student girls dead, and one adult, with another s or 3 in hospital?

Mr. Pickle 10-03-2006 03:59 PM
Is it possible to hook up my stero system to my computer?
i have a stereo receiver hooked up to my computer.

DaveSavesTheDay 10-03-2006 03:59 PM

I thought it was 5 with the 3 that died in hospital?

That is what was on cnn.com a few hours ago when I last checked.

Dave: I have my stereo hooked up to my home computer, so yes it is. I used a 1/8 to 1/8 cord and sent it to the aux in on the stereo. If you want a better signal, use a DI box as well. If your stereo has a RCA in (something that mine doesn't) you can use RCA cables with an adapter to do it. That will run a balanced signal without the DI.

There is a major wood crack running around the headstock of my Les Paul, I need sympathy.
There is a major wood crack running around the headstock of my Les Paul, I need sympathy.
You can send it to me. It is most likely fixable, post a pic and I'll tell you.

It is fixable, but the sustain will most likely suffer. It's right by the end of the neck, running up the side of the headstock. I have no idea how it got there, it was fine the day before, then I open the case and there is a fatty crack. I was so pissed. It should be in the shop by now.

That is what happened with my six string, one day it is fine, the next it has a crack in the neck.

So, James Blunt was actually really good last night. I was really impressed with how good he sounded live. Plus, I got major brownie points :p

I'm reading over the music section of my AcaDeca review guide. I want to take first this year.

I can't really tell the difference between an equal temperment tuning and the chinese twelve lyu tuning though.

I just like the way that they play, I don't care what kind of guitar I have as long as it plays well.
