quote for awesomeness
It would be cool to have a laptop, though I'd be just as content with a computer and a firepod, with tons of storage for recording.

laptops are so fun, i might go out tomarrow and see how many unsecure wireless networks i can find.

Criss Frantic 07-14-2006 08:44 PM
I hate to say it, but I hate your band...mainly because:

A) It's been done a million times over
B) It seems to be a concept album about politics in America....yet you're Australian...and I'm near sure you guys have no clue what you're talking about
C) You use long-*** samples. STOP SAMPLING! Nobody cares!

That said, your actual music, isn't so bad
Ahahahahahahahaha. All i can say to that is a big fat frantics GET FUCKED. I don't know where you got the idea about the concept album about politics in america...the song was about Australia's involvment in the war in Iraq, and how john howard is sucking Bush's doodle, and it's the only song we've written about "American politics".

Ahah. And three of the 4 songs on the myspace are actually about Australian politics, which we DO have a clue about, and I would assume you, being an ignorant American, would have no clue about. And the samples were just having fun, those are the only two songs we've used them on. But hey, if you dont like us, that's cool.

Ah...it sounded more like an American thing...and yes, I'm aware I don't know about australian politics, I don't really care though. I guess it was coincidence that the only 2 songs I listened to had samples...

It's all good. And to be fair, we wrote USA AOK about 3 years ago, when we were about 15 and in our "Anti-Flag OMGz america sucks!" stage. We have progressed since then, both musically and lyrically, we just haven't had the chance to record our newer material with our singer being in the UK for a year. But yeah, we know we suck and we're fine with it.

trumpeter 07-14-2006 08:58 PM

We've actually covered "Run" a few times live, the crowd's always loved it. The only time i've slapped in this band. I can't wait til Paul get's back with his new Frenzal-esque songs and I can have a crack at writing some Lex-worthy lines:D

EDIT: We also did "Cones".

I've decided to go Markbass. Little Mark II head and 410 cab. Same price as the Ampeg rig, but friggin' lightweight, and the head is 500 watts (solid state) and about as big as your computer keyboard. I'm about 2 weeks or so away, depending on how soon my tax money comes.

FunkMetalBass 07-14-2006 09:05 PM

So, my neck hurts...
