Thank you guys for your input on that. I will probably pick both of them up. But probably Me Against the World First. Just because I have definitely heard his more popular songs, but I am kinda looking for something kinda personal. I dunno, they both sound good to check out though, so thank you guys all again.

Dude I repped the link to you a few days ago!
It also happens to be his so shut up.

And I can't see how it's terrible when All Eyez On Me has so many big tracks on it and rarely disapoints. I would definatly recommend this first as Me Against the World is his most personal and slower album, so if you don't even know much of his music in the first place you might wanna get All Eyez first to get his thug thing down then listen to his personal album and see another side of him.

Shorty Wanna Be A Thug and 2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted can be found on All Eyez, and those are classics. Got My Mind Made Up is another one to check out off that as it collabs with Method and Redman as well as Daz and Kurupt and is a cool track.
Yea that collab is nice. I love that beat.

One of the best of this year.

sgrevs 12-17-2006 08:33 PM

Upload, or where can I find it?

Edit: found

Re-edit: sorry, not found

sgrevs 12-18-2006 01:50 AM

Winner.

Edit: You must spread some Reputation around before giving to ArrestThisMan again.

ATM 12-18-2006 07:58 AM

You listen yet?

I've been checking **** from this year, so many good things came out.

Have you heard Kenn Starr - Starr Status?

sgrevs 12-18-2006 06:18 PM

That was pretty sick, thanks a lot. Though when I was extracting the files, the last one screwed up, so I only have 10 tracks. Great stuff though. I think my favourite was Akroradix .

No I've never heard Kenn Starr, keep uploading if you wish to keep my lust for hip-hop sastisfied.

sgrevs 12-18-2006 10:40 PM

Cool cool cool. What's it like?

ATM 12-19-2006 07:56 AM

The beats are ridiculous. He's a local guy here in Maryland.

Rams 12-19-2006 01:26 PM

Kenn Starr doesn't offer anything other indie hip-hoppers do.

sgrevs 12-19-2006 02:46 PM

I haven't had a chance to listen to it all yet, only about halfway through. It doesn't seem too special yet, but then again neither did Hell Hath No Fury at first, but it grew on me heaps. The beats are pretty sick though. It's all just a tad slow for me throughout, doesn't keep me captivated like the Radix one did.

Dancin' Man 12-19-2006 04:31 PM

Can anyone fill me in on where I can get a lot of midi samples? I need more sounds for beats.

JonM 12-19-2006 06:24 PM

Make them.

Dancin' Man 12-19-2006 07:10 PM

I have trouble understanding why so many people here insist on being assholes and responding to everything, whether or not they have anything of value to say.

beso negro 12-19-2006 07:19 PM

I already told you in your thread. www.hammersound.net

It's MX, man. We are all sarcastic bastards.

Apocalyptic Raids 12-19-2006 11:25 PM

Which Gang Starr album is best?

Rams 12-19-2006 11:52 PM

Step in the Arena easily.

Apocalyptic Raids 12-20-2006 05:48 PM

ok, thanks.

Rams 12-21-2006 12:07 AM

Masta Ace's "Revelations" has a cool bass solo in it. How many rap songs can do that?

Masta Ace rules.

LF96 12-21-2006 05:44 AM

I wouldn't say Gang Starr's best album is Step In The Arena. I rate Daily Operation, Hard To Earn and Moment of Truth all higher than that one. Especially Moment of Truth, that's their pinnacle if you ask me.

And yes, Masta Ace is really good.

ATM 12-21-2006 08:26 AM

What's a good Masta Ace album to try?

JonM 12-21-2006 10:01 AM

ATM, I would rep you but I can't until I spread more around. I wasn't feeling the Kenn Starr record so much, but the RADIx record is the shit. Thankz.

ATM 12-21-2006 10:02 AM

No worries, man.

The Kenn Starr album has ****ing awesome beats but the MC is kinda boring.

JonM 12-21-2006 10:04 AM

Yeah, that's pretty much what I thought about it.

ATM 12-21-2006 10:08 AM

I'm thinking about doing some kind of massive hip hop uploading spree.

Be forewarned.

JonM 12-21-2006 10:09 AM

Sounds good to me.
