This thread has never been popular, I rarely see it. But I still like to discuss about my favorite band.

Isnt there a dvd coming out this month? i remember the release date getting dropped from June till August i think.

Im not sure, they keep pushing back the release date.

it was pushed back to march...i believe that is the final change that they are gonna do...

the reason for this one was because there is a live cd coming out in october...they have been recording all of these shows they have been playing for the past year...and then choose the best sounding songs for the cd...

No, I thought that Vol 3 came with some bonus songs.

Yeah but I thought if you like bought that new special edition one at some certain store (Target I think) you got a preview of the DVD. This was awhile ago though. Probably a limited time thing.

im not sure if they even have all of the footage that they wanna use...

Sublimital Versus tour. they were suppost to be filming every show, and pick the best songs from all the shows and put them on the dvd i think.

You seem to like all of the songs that most Slipknot fans hate. Why is it that I dont see you listing such songs as Eyeless, Sic, People=**** and The Heretic Anthem?

All songs he listed have good melodical chorus' while most of those you listed dont. When I first heard slipknot, I seriously thought they weren't for me until I heard wait and bleed and vermillion. Now I like sic, people=****, spit it out, etc..

what PepsiMetal posted is exactly right...those songs are a little bit more commercial and easier for people to transition into them...

when the S/T came out...i was like fu.ck yeah....especially from the ending into sic...i was not expecting that...its beautiful as hell...

i just like the music...too me they are excellent musicians...and they provide an excellent tone for nine guys to be in key with one another so well...

plus...joey is my favorite drummer...so only seems fitting to like them...

They have been my favorite band since i was really young, there were something new at the time.

theyve been my favorite band since late 1996/early 1997 when i had heard MFKR...they are just amazing...
