I'd love to own a record store someday, but it seems worthless and generally doomed. With the combination of online mp3 services, pirating, and online CD/album retailers - there isn't much room for independently owned record stores anymore. Because of that I'm trying to support my stores when I can, but I can't always justify paying 16.99 for something when I can buy it online for 11 and get it shipped to me for 13. It's tough, because I want to help, but I'm not exactly a wealthy man either.
On that note - online orders here: Information - Biomekano Helios - Eingya Ride - Going Blank Again Sonic Youth - A Thousand Leaves |

:) I haven't purchased anything lately, but I will say that Dante's Inferno is a good read. |
Just bought:
Drive By Truckers - The Dirty South - I've been wanting to get a DBT album for absolutely ages but they were all way too expensive on amazon/ebay until I snapped this one up on ebay for £6 The Bronx - La Muerta Viva - Heard 2 songs from this cool EP so I thought I'd snap it up. Both purchases from Ebay. In addition to my 2 other cds I've recently bought (the RHP has arrived now so I'll listen to that at some point), I'm going to have 3 (possibly more) cds to listen to when I get home from holiday to New York  |
How are you liking that Dredg?
Then I'll be a fellow fanboy.
