I just listened to "She's Strychnine", and it didn't sound very deathcore to me. It's just all dissonance and breakdowns. Basically has more in common with scene grind. This is what Daughters would sound like with harsher vocals and down-tuned guitars. |
well theyre not grindy in that dissonant, high-pitched way at all
theyre like pure deathcore
They kinda lean towards Grind on "Doom". No traces in "Genesis." |
They kinda lean towards Grind on "Doom".
No traces in "Genesis."
yeah, there are some mild tendencies on "doom" but i mean, over all, jfac are pretty much textbook deathcore. |

I don't really think there is any core whatsoever on Genesis. Definitely on Doom though. |
They kinda lean towards Grind on "Doom".
No traces in "Genesis."
 Ever listen to grind before? Doesn't seem like it. |
 Ever listen to grind before? Doesn't seem like it.
Yeah I definitely don't hear the grind. |
They kinda lean towards Grind on "Doom".
No traces in "Genesis."
WRONG. Job For A Cowboy sucks balls and have no grind in their sound at all. What you said was an insult to grind. |
FYI for DJTeeLay:
Grindcore, often shortened to grind, is an evolution of crust punk, most commonly associated with death metal, a very different though similarly extreme style of music. Grindcore is characterized by: heavily distorted, down-tuned guitars, with crust punk-influenced riffing; hardcore punk and thrash metal drumming, with many bands focusing on blast beats; songs rarely lasting more than two minutes and often seconds long; vocals which consist of growls and higher-pitched screams, similar to those found in black metal or hardcore punk. Lyrical concepts range from social and political issues to gore and humor. |
xGOREx not xCOREx LOL
xGOREx not xCOREx LOL
lol I don't think I even know what that means. |
They kinda lean towards Grind on "Doom".
No traces in "Genesis."
 that cracked me up. JFAC are good tho srsly. Not amazin and Genesis is a bit samey, but there solid. They just won't set the world alight imo. |
I enjoy them from time to time.

NO KARATE NO BREAKDOWNS NO COMBOVERS NO SCENE It's Cattle Decapitation's anti-xscenexcorex slogan that alot of people throw around now. |
