Can someone please upload the master of puppets cover for me? If it has been can you link me to it?
What exactly is guitar pro? It seems to me from what you've said it's like an editing/recording program.
Guitar Pro is basically the same thing as Powertab, but much better. You have the ability to program drums into the songs also. So people make the tabs up, I download them, mute the guitar parts, and jam along to them! Almost all the Trivium songs are tabbed on mysongbook.com, which hosts a ton of GuitarPro files.

www.myspace.com/triviumsucks

a myspace profile devoted entirely to the unquestioned flaming of trivium.

funny in places. nontheless bad, cause its Trivium.

has a blog devoted entirely to the flaming of 5 fanboys from the Trivium forums. fair enough, fanboys are fanboys, but this dude sure does talk some utter bollocks, too.

a group created for the flaming of paolo is also included.

a good source of discussion. also, i posted a couple of times in there too.

read the blogs!

Crysiss 04-30-2006 04:50 PM

Dying In You Arms Is a rather cliched piece of lyrics.

Rattlehead 04-30-2006 04:55 PM

i don't listen to it it enough to know. if there is one thing on that blog page link i posted that i agree with, besides the annoyance of fanboys, it is that DIYA is terrible. don't get me wrong, most of what he said was crap, but that is true, IMO.

Crysiss 04-30-2006 05:54 PM

You hurt his ego!

My convo in a few.

Crysiss 04-30-2006 11:33 PM

I wonder what he thought when I asked if he was the a7x bassist.

Maybe that you were an idiot or asshat

Crysiss 04-30-2006 11:54 PM

I wouldnt be too surprised. Ive changed my perspective in that one conversation because I realize now that he barely has much of a reply at all.

Maybe like "yea" "thank you" "maybe"

Theres more to the conversation, it was just horribly boring.

Rattlehead 05-01-2006 04:31 AM

what was it, msn? myspace? it may have been a fake though, i reckon, there are many nowadays.

Crysiss 05-01-2006 01:55 PM

It was AIM.

SimonCore 05-02-2006 03:51 PM

How did you get to talk to one of the members of Trivium?

Crysiss 05-02-2006 04:20 PM

I kick *** thats why.

In all seriousness, I found his AIM on a myspace.

Forlorn Hope 05-02-2006 09:11 PM

He probably didn't respond much because I'm sure he gets loads and loads of messages and conversations from fans saying mostly the same stuff.

Anyway. Me and our other guitarist have learned Like Light To Flies and The Decieved, excluding solos (we will learn them soon). We are planning to record them. Also we are going to practice them with an awesome drummer :D
I've been dying to record a Trivium cover and now we are doing two!

Also, if anyone has any good drum samples I would greatly appreciate them. Especially crash cymbals. The ones I have now aren't that great. I can download/send songs or something in return if need be.

I haven't posted in here in forever. Curse the second page lurking of this thread!!

Crysiss 05-02-2006 10:09 PM

Like Light To The Flies is pretty darn easy.

SimonCore 05-03-2006 09:46 AM

Perhaps you could share his AIM address with the MX crew;)

Crysiss 05-03-2006 10:18 AM

He told me not to tell anyone.

SimonCore 05-03-2006 12:36 PM
He told me not to tell anyone.
I'm sure one person won't hurt! PLEEAASSEEE!!!!!!

Crysiss 05-04-2006 12:18 PM

SchpincPimper2K

Dont expect much.

SimonCore 05-04-2006 01:07 PM

What's his address though?

Forlorn Hope 05-04-2006 08:11 PM
Like Light To The Flies is pretty darn easy.
Yes, 'tis easy. We practiced it today with a different drummer and we already have the whole song down. I still have to learn my solo though. We found a good tab on mysongbook.com but I don't have guitar pro. So, I'm waiting for the other guitarist to print it out for me. Sounds easy enough. The sweeping might be a little tricky but that's just because I've never really swept before
It's all good.

TID22 05-06-2006 07:01 PM

I really like Trivium and think they are great song writers. I love the work of the two guitars especially. I really like Dying In Your Arms. I like the music of all their other songs but I must say that I do not enjoy Matt Heafy's scream too much.
The breakdown in suffocating sight just gave me an orgasm.
Hear hear, I love that part so much.

azbassman 05-06-2006 09:03 PM

I wasnt really that into Trivium. Then i got Asendancy and Ember to Inferno. Havent listened to both all the way through yet but so far my favorite is 'A Gunshot to The Head of Trepidation'. Any recommendation on what i should listen to next?

Crysiss 05-07-2006 11:38 AM

the whole CD?

azbassman 05-07-2006 12:12 PM
the whole CD?
Ended up doing that anyways.

Crysiss 05-08-2006 11:18 AM

lol, so what are your favorite songs?

Forlorn Hope 05-08-2006 09:32 PM

What are some of the better ones off of Ember To Inferno. I like Fugue and When All Light Dies, but what else are the "hallmarks" of that album?

Rattlehead 05-09-2006 11:09 AM

yeah those are my two favourites. WALD is one of my favouritre Trivium songs all over. its quite different from Gunshot of Pull harder, but it's just awesome.

"I want to take your life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

and as for another EtE 'hallmark', Requiem is a superb song.
