I think it is, for it happened very shortly after. Ah. Forgot. No Ozzy-solo talk:).
Does anyone know if there will be another studio album from Ozzy, Bill, Geezer and Tony?
Hah i guess we all hope one will be released, but... I don't think it will happen anymore. Ozzy, like I said like 20 pages before, is too much into the osbournes family business (acting like daft idiot who can barely speak and getting lots of cash for it)... And from what I've read some time ago in news on Siegler's site, it was an interview with Tony... He said there that they are not going to go to studio with Ozzy anymore because... well... It seemed like they (Oz and Tony) were like upset on each other... |
It would be good to bring Tony Martin back in, but he doesn't want to (heard that in some interview, possibly from joe sieglers site).
|
Dio wants to work with Tony again, but not Geezer and Bill.
The thing in the Blizzard of Ozz booklet was probably referring to Randy's death. This thread won't die, it might turn into a bog-standard discussion thread at times but its still all about Black Sabbath. ohohohohoh! Guess what I've got! Ready? Its not Black Sabbath, oh no... its... EARTH! I just remembered I've got about 23 seconds of a song called The Rebel. Its very bluesy and has a piano at the start of it. Now, who wants to touch me? |
i dont do touching guys!
anyway merry christmas (yes i know ive missed it by 3 days) and happy new year everyone. i didnt get any sabbath stuff :upset: will go shopping this week sometime. best albums to get to start collection? |
Vol.4, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, Black Sabbath are good starting points.
|
or sold our soul for rock and roll
|
Meh.
Best of Black Sabbath > We Sold Our Soul... Its got a better selection of tracks on it, Sold our Soul only goes up to Sabotage. |
yea but it is a good album
and cheap :thumb: |
Does the cd version contain The Warning?
I've seen some copies of the album on a single cd that don't have The Warning on them, did they ever release a double album for We Sold Our Soul...or not? /has it on vinyl |
no to warning and the double album at least cd
5,600 :thumb: |
Huh?
Your post made little sense. |
im sorry
1. the warning is not on the sold our soul for rock and roll cd 2. it is not a double album(cd) vinyl i have no idea 3. congrats on 5,600 posts |
Ah, now it makes sense.
Its on the vinyl version, its a double vinyl thingy and the inside picture is pretty cool. |

|

Glad to hear such opinion. It's good to know that people appreciate Sabbath so much... And still post here so little...:P Is it a live album or just another 'best of'? (too lazy to check :p ) |
If I'm right, its all the Ozzy-era albums.
Something like that? |
If I'm right, its all the Ozzy-era albums.
Something like that?
Just checked (guess which site :P )...Track listing: Black Sabbath N.I.B. The Wizard Warning Evil Woman Paranoid Iron Man War Pigs Fairies Wear Boots Sweet Leaf Children of the Grave Into the Void Lord of this World After Forever (First song of Disc 2) Snowblind Laguna Sunrise Changes Tomorrow's Dream Supernaut Sabbath Bloody Sabbath Fluff Sabbra Cadabra Am I Going Insane (Radio) Symptom of the Universe Hole in the Sky Rock 'N' Roll Doctor Dirty Women Never Say Die A Hard Road So not exactly all the albums, but all the best known songs. |
Thats a better collection than We Sold Our Soul...
Wow, and here was me thinking that there wasn't a best of that covered Technical Ecstasy and Never Say Die! Its a shame that ''Air Dance' isn't on there, its a great song :( |

And there was a the best of released before Symptom of the Universe - link from Siegler's site: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00004SD4G/73407921/104-8115770-0543111 I have got it on a casette. It's good because it also has some stuff from Dio era and Born Again (zero the hero) |
Yeah its got 29 ozzy era songs on it, I'm at a loss of words for describing how great Sabbath is, I mean..I had heard some of the best known songs prior to buying it, partially why I bought it. So I could listen to more of their stuff, but the other songs are all great songs. It also has a little book full of sabbath information, for instance, how Tony lost his finger tips and thought he'd never be able to play again..Very inspirational..The only song they left off of it was Electric Funeral, was that ozzy era?

Yes. It's second or third song on their Paranoid album. I like it, it's very "gloomy and doomy" (anyone heard Reunion?) :thumb: . If you want to buy anymore albums, you should start with Black Sabbath, Master of Reality, Vol.4, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, Paranoid. In this order. |
I would, but I'm broke. I had 185 when i went out, I'm down to 3..:upset:
|
Electric Funeral=best sabbath song,
The best albums gotta be the self titled though, |

Do you mean 185, and then 3 bucks? You're quick at spending money :P...
Electric Funeral=best sabbath song, The best albums gotta be the self titled though
I won't agree with any of these. There is NO "ye beste Sabbath songe/albume", imo. Black Sabbath is a great album, so does every other one recorded by Sabbath (from which I know). Amen. Edit: God**** it, man, I'm downloading from Bearshare a 2GB discogrsaphy of BS file (all 29 albums!) and it is queued now... ****!!! If it doesn't d/l I'll be well pissed off... |
yea there isn't a best sabbath album
except if you get the black box |
Downloading albums is bad.
Electric Funeral is track 5 on Paranoid. ''Best'' albums and songs are different for each person. |
Whoa I missed out on a lot of Sabbath talk today.
I slept untill 7:00 p.m. |
