You find a person who has a CD that you want, and you have a CD they want. Then you get on AIM and send them the file with all the songs in it.

People -> Send File or Folder -> choose the folder, and click send.

You get complete albums, you don't get messed up copies, and you can get obscure songs, and if you're trying to download something that isn't well-known, it doesn't take hours.
