DKC didnt age well. When you get past the nostalgia it's just a generic platformer with (at the time) fancy graphics

They're not bad but they're really not that great. I think a lot of it's nostalgia because I remembered loving them as a kid. Then I bought DKC2 and replayed it with my friend Matt and we beat it in one sitting. We both agreed it's not as fun as we remembered.
