haha I love the backwards universe episode.
"It's not a barroom brawl, its a barroom tidy. UNRUMBLE!"
back to reality owns all |
Well, once again, i win!
But yes, Within Temptation were an abysmal NightWish rip off, with two guitarists who did exactly the same as each other all the time. There were NO LEADS ATALL. And the singer though she was some kind of elf. |
Why were DT so pants?

Well, several reasons.
The music was soooo boring. So boring. It was just like 'Shred, sweeps, sweeps, solo, solo, solo.' They were on for too long. The songs were too long. Just when you start getting into a song, it changes time signature, or just changes completly. Their singer is so annoying. And overweight. Petrucci. Don't even get me started. The only song i could stand was 'As I Am.' |

Not really I am not a fan of DT because of the singer. They are kinda fun to listen to but there is something about them ill give you that. |
The only thing I like about them are their keyboard and bass players.
|
I can't understand why people hate James LaBrie so much, he seems to be a great vocalist to me...

Starting on Friday night I tried to go a week without smoking pot.
I lasted for about 30(?) hours. Oh well. I just can't get into that style of singing for some reason. |
I don't think so, but, whatever... your opinion
|
I like Dream Theater, Labrie is great in some songs, and terrible in others. On a related note, I bought Liquid Tension Experiment the other day.

Thats the only thing about Petrucci that i can stand, mainly because its basically him admitting that he can only show off. '6!66! The one for you and me!' |

Yeah, some times he's awsome, others he sucks |

I disagree. Yes, he does do show off solos, but when he wants to he can do some very tasteful solos, and riffs. His solo at the end of Octavarium is incredable (not in a technical way). |
'6!66! The one for you and me!'

The spirit carries on has a very good one too.
NP: Blind Guardian - Theater of Pain
I forgot about that one, and it's one of my favorites too. Btw, Blind Guardian gets a big \m/. |
Well i just had one of the most fun conversations of my life...
'why did you decide to snog someone else the other night?' Yeah, it was good fun... ...So...Sup? |
If they're not as funny or stupid, they're really close.
no they aren't, what makes you make such an ill- informed judgement? |
Oh man, I love Spinal Tap. My favorite part is the AC/DC part when he goes on his back and the roadie comes and spins him around.
|
no they aren't, what makes you make such an ill- informed judgement?
Oh boy, here we go again. I'm not going to get into this because the same reasons why I find them funny are most likely the same reasons you find them great. |
