Saw em at Warped yesterday. I am a fan and their live show is pretty awesome. Tim (guy with beard), looks just like a friend of mine who was at the show with me so that was kind of funny.

As far as metalcore goes, I saw The Devil Wears Prada, who put on a decent show, and Emmure, who are an amazing band because they manage to make entire songs composed of nothing but breakdowns.

Emmure is so bad. :lol:

the devil wears prada played a great set but they were SO early. they played at 12pm. thankfully emmure didnt play the toronto date lol.

alexisonfire put on a sweet show although this does not fit the metalcore discussion. but underoath sounded really close to flawless today i think

It was pretty funny when Devil Wears Prada played (they were later, at 3 I think). The line up was just kind of poorly planned out I think. I was in front up against the front barricade, and generally if you wanna get up front, or towards the front, you head up there before the band you want to see. So right after TDWP was 3OH!3. So I see all these little girls with 3OH!3 headbands getting absolutely ruined in TDWP pits.

Then I saw some who were still stuck up there when Chiodos played. I dunno if you saw Chiodos but they put on a pretty cool show as well. Every song, they asked for a different form of crowd participation. For example, one song began with a wall of death, and for another song they asked for as many crowd surfers as possible, which was a neat sight. Same thing happened though, with people getting caught in the wrong crowd, because Paramore (who was billed as a special guest as they had a day off from No Doubt), played right after Chiodos.

IMO Sky Eats Airplane and August Burns Red are about as good as metalcore gets, which isn't saying much.
