Ah cool I am glad you had fun I still remember the first concert I went to.

Micheal Jackson

magicbus 07-14-2005 05:17 PM
Chocolate pasta, that could actually work.
Pasta is pretty similiar to bread, and we've all had choclate on bread before, right? (cake, pie, fondue stuff)

I'm doing a single noodle first, to see how it is.

Lord Abortion 07-14-2005 05:19 PM

I remember my first concert, maiden in 03, DoD tour...

Illmatic 07-14-2005 05:22 PM

My first concert was Jay-Z, I think.

RCA 07-14-2005 05:23 PM

My first was King Diamond in '99.

Rothmans 07-14-2005 05:24 PM

Ah Micheal Jakson beats all.

magicbus 07-14-2005 05:25 PM

The noodles taste fine. Not like that time when I tried choclate syrup on an Italian sub...

EDIT: Scratch that, a few bites later it tasted sick.

jpj 07-14-2005 05:28 PM

My first concert was Weird Al

Take that statement in whatever context you will.

Good morning, all.

well that's a good MJ joke at least
it is overdone, if he really isn't a phedeophile which I don't think he is and never did, it's a little unfair, we should go back to mocking his plastic surgery instead

Steerpike 07-14-2005 05:35 PM

I just got up a half-hour ago. The fact that I slept 12 hours today has led me to one inescapable conclusion: you guys were right, and I need to seriously contemplate quitting my job.

Is there nowhere else???

what do you do for money during termtime?
Is there nowhere else???

Miscellaneous expenses such as the occassional meal, tissues, soap, deodorant, my inner circle's occoassional movie outings, and materials for my projects. That last one only came up last semester. Funding for the school has been slashed by the state due to the economy and the administration's policies to the point where the tuition has been raised by about 10% and the school can't afford to supply students with the majority of the supplies they need for our various projects.

It actually hits harder than you'd think.
Hello Trevor.
Why do people keep saying my name and I have no idea who the hell they are?

Name change, perhaps?

EDIT: Oh, hey, Ryan. How's Europe or whatever?

I'm so getting my name changed to something you wouldn't expect, just to spite y'all.

I think I know what you'll be naming yourself. ;)

so how do you get money to pay for random stuff like CD's and other sundry items?

ATM 07-14-2005 05:53 PM

Change your name to Clay Aiken.

Steerpike 07-14-2005 05:54 PM

Usually music and movies I pay for once a month on my credit card. I occassionally pay in cash if I haven't bought anything else for a couple weeks.
I guess I'm the only one who hasn't had precious/painful memories with Incubus involved.
Sorry to rain on your parade, but I haven't either :)

Of course, the same can be said about any other artist when it comes to things like that for me, heh.
That's weird that there is a UK and Aus community thread.
Why/How is that weird?
My first show was _______.
I've never been to a show

When I told a friend that, she was all shocked. She told me while I was at university that she would take me to a show this summer.

Yeah, I haven't spoken to her in a month. Heh. Don't think that's happening any time soon.

///

Anyway, hello.

This concept of a "credit card" intrigues me... I normally get CD's once every couple of months, and Christmas is normally a 10+ CD occasion, woo me...

I guess it's weird because it's in the Classifieds section. Just an odd place for a community thread.

How come you never go to shows?

You got owned by teh intraweb.

Speaking of ordering things, I ordered an A7X shirt tonight, aren't I dark?!

RCA 07-14-2005 06:15 PM

A7X are too satanic for my leftist Christian ideals and views.

That was a joke.

Jom 07-14-2005 06:19 PM
How come you never go to shows?
No reason other than, well, "laziness," really. Like, if I want to go to a show, I just want to sit and listen and watch everything. The last thing I want to do is go running around in a pit and get blasted across the face by some faggot pretending to be Billy Badass.

So, since I can't have that, I just buy a lot of music and listen at home/wherever I am.

And about 7 other random metal/punk sub-genres, lol.

Dr. Jake Destructo 07-14-2005 06:32 PM

A7X is pretty cool. I've only heard 2 songs, but from what I heard, they are quite the talented tr00 n3cr0z.

So I finished my giant sidewalk building project today with my dad. It turned out quite awesome. It's just your basic sidewalk, but I think it's something that we all take for granted. Next time you walk down the street, think about how much work someone put into that little slab of cement.
If you don't mind missing the Super Bowl, go to any theme park on Super Sunday and long lines will be avoided. Busch Gardens is great.

On a different note, could you avoid posts that just say "hello", in future? Please.

My first show was Silverginger 5, and roughly 1/3 of my live experience has been The Wildhearts. Newcastle doesn't usually provide good opportunity for seeing people live.

tell me about it...
where do you live BTW? near The Toon  ?

it's generally bollocks for live bands, but the new carling academy will make it alot better and some good bands do still come to the arena- rammstein tonight were brilliant for example and Alice cooper is there in November.

but I can't imagine for example cannibal corpse or mayhem choosing Newcastle for live shows...
