10,000 Maniacs - In My Tribe
10,000 Maniacs - Blind Man's Zoo 10,000 Maniacs - MTV Unplugged Belle and Sebastian - The Lift Pursuit Strike Anywhere - Exit English Us Maple - Long Hair In Three Strands All listened to today from CD. Stupid last.fm will never know but who cares?
Have you stopped listening to "The Life Pursuit"? I basically listened to that album nonstop while working this last summer....good times. |
Chavez - Ride The Fader
This is insanely catchy, off-kilter indie rock. Really underlistened band. |
Jurassic 5 - Quality Control
Incubus - Morning View (Other than this and S.C.I.E.N.C.E they kinda suck though.) At The Drive-In - Acrobatic Tenement |
I've been digging the Mermaid Avenue records by Billy Bragg and Wilco. I don't know why I didn't know about these until yesterday. It's two albums of unreleased Woody Guthrie lyrics to original music by Billy Bragg and Wilco. It's about as good as you'd expect.
|
Blur - Parklife
...And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead - Worlds Apart |

The Associates. Neat band, sometimes a little too chilly and abrasive for my tastes, but some great tunes. Another one of those double take artists that make me wonder did Musician X hear this stuff and decide to make Album Y. In this case, replace X with Scott Walker and Y with Climate of the Hunter.
