Creedence Clearwater 12-11-2004 06:11 PM
Creedence i really want to paint the Dylan picture in your avatar. I painted a Jim Morrison one (you know his famous picture) and it looks awesome. I think Dylan might have to be next.

what is Bonnaroo? I've heard about it alot..i always just imagine Bono as a kangaroo.
it is from the cover of his old book, tarantula.

It's a yearly festival. It mainly involves Jam Bands and Roots bands. But the occasional Jazz or Alt band may show up.

Doesn't Keep on Phishin' go every year?

Broken Arrow 12-11-2004 06:13 PM
my mistake.

and Livewired...i asked if anyone knew anything about Poco earlier, how come you didn't speak up. are you keeping information from me? what song are you listening to?

edit- i will post a picture of me sometime, so you guys can decide whether i look like jesus...i've had mixed reviews.
Where does it take place? I like festivals, we always have the Regina Folk Festival...for some reason i have a sealed record of the 12th Regina Folk Festival. i'm not sure if it's supposed to be the best or what the deal is, because i checked and there aren't any other RFF's recorded.

edit- i would love to show you my painting, but i can't post pictures. i dont have a camera or a scanner or whatever you need. maybe i will at my friends house.

Badmoon 12-11-2004 06:20 PM

Going to a good festival would own.

thickasabrick 12-11-2004 06:25 PM

Tennessee eh..

and whats Keep on Phishin? is that some sort of cover band? or do you mean the mx member?

speaking of artwork...in grade 6 we had to draw album covers, and since i was so (un)talented at drawing, i decided to try drawing Satisfaction. I still have it hanging in my room, and its not bad for a little kid drawing, but anytime someone comments on it i make sure they know i drew it a long time ago. looking back, i dont think i even followed all the designs that the record had, i just made up my own.

Creedence Clearwater 12-11-2004 06:26 PM

A revolver cover art/painting would look good

lunch998 12-11-2004 06:27 PM

What albums do you have so far?

So, I was watching the Simpsons and they went to London England and Homer and Marge were looking for Bart and Lisa in a giant Ferris wheel and Homer says and I quote-"There's Jimmy Page one of the greatest thieves of american black music to ever walk the earth."

I laughed over this one but I relised that hardly any of the veiwers would even get this joke.

Guitar_fool 12-11-2004 09:00 PM

Does anyone talk about classic rock in here anymore or is this just another way of getting
post count++?

Yes, see every post in the last 2 pages or so. And then the 3 pages after that, minus some drunken spam and a few side discussions.

Have a nice day

Now post a list of your favorite classic rock bands, that's how you introduce yourself here.

I got it. I was a little disappointed.

BludgeonySteve 12-11-2004 09:09 PM

Plant, Jones and Bonham were a much theives as Page was ;)

And even then, usually it was just some lyrics or a riff that they slighty changed.

I'm listening to Happy Trails now, it owns. Earlier the package from Amazon came, and there was other stuff in there(possibly for me, xmas) that my mom didn't want me to see. So she finally opened it and gave my CD.
