I think YOU are the one who needs sleep, homie.

Zmev 12-03-2005 07:36 AM

I fell asleep to the qotsa dvd at around 8...or 9...ok I completely forget.

I was dozing at You Can't Quit me baby and when I put my head up, it was I wanna Make it Wit Chu.

Glitterati 12-03-2005 09:51 AM

Fusty Walrus! I wanted to sleep in this morning! What's all this waking up at 7:30 bullshit?

Electrocution 12-03-2005 11:12 AM

Ha, so since last.fm deleted my tags, they're giving me subscriber privileges. Bonus.

Bartender 12-03-2005 11:14 AM

Yeah, someone in R&M got that too. For all the rest of this year, no less.

Electrocution 12-03-2005 11:25 AM

I saw that pixiesfanyo got it also. I imagine moz did, too, since the same thing happened to her.

Interstate 12-03-2005 04:39 PM

I woke up at 2:30pm today. Oversleeping is not fun. I had breakfast, started watching a film and then about an hour later my stomach didn't feel too good so I ended up puking it all back up.

Lovely.

YDload 12-03-2005 04:41 PM

I haven't been on the computer in the last few days because I was having my appendix taken out.

Interstate 12-03-2005 04:43 PM
I haven't been on the computer in the last few days because I was having my appendix taken out.
Ouch!

sweboy 12-03-2005 05:27 PM

Glitterati 12-03-2005 05:42 PM
Pics plz!
Yes, pix of that secksi appendix.

Electrocution 12-03-2005 06:22 PM

I had mine taken out in 7th grade.

6Stringer 12-03-2005 06:35 PM

I've never had my appendix taken out, I guess I'm lucky?

moaner 12-03-2005 06:39 PM
It happens to most of us. If I post drunk, I won't say it in my post, but if someone can figure it out then I'll fess up.

And I know what you mean by being out of character when you're under the influence. I'm much more talkative usually. It's sad, actually.
I don't drink much anymore. when i did, drunk me was basically just a sad little man who wanted girls to like him.

Happymeal 12-03-2005 08:39 PM

Just got back from a friend's party. First band gig evah.

Little Man being Erased 12-03-2005 09:02 PM

I went to see three awesome bands on Friday night (I Heart Hiroshima, Expatriate and The Grates), then got totally wasted. Yesterday, I went and bought some CDs, then went to the movies and saw Me and You and Everyone We Know, then came home and watched Crash and The Big Lebowski. Tonight, I'm going to see Okkervil River.

What a great weekend. How's everyone else going?

BillCosby 12-03-2005 09:17 PM

It was pretty good, celebrated a friends birthday on Friday night by getting together, singing bad karoake and watching Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Got together with friends today to work on a group presentation of History class, which was more fun than it was was work. But it doesn't look as if I'm going out tonight, which sucks.

ThisUserIsAPipebomb 12-03-2005 09:19 PM

I'm watching the QOTSA performance at the pinkpop festival, and it is amazing.

I've heard this is an awesome film. Did you like it? I'm having a nice weekend. Tomorrow night I have some friends coming over for a movie night. Should be sweet.

Glitterati 12-03-2005 10:17 PM

My weekend has been really boring so far. Tomorrow I better do something really cool and exciting, like eat my own head.

Zmev 12-03-2005 11:21 PM

Today was quiz kids (we got stomped on), bought athf dvd, 3 cd's, and a book for about $50, and did my homework!

I'm now not failing english.

Oh yeah and tomorrow is band practice, the plug in debut of my new thunderbird.

YDload 12-04-2005 12:32 AM

Pfft, you quiz kids. My team made it to states twice because I am a trivia nerd  :(

biografiend 12-04-2005 12:37 AM

Tonight wasn't too bad actually. The boy and I went and got some Chinese, and then rented Trainspotting, both of which were quite good. I have been depressed lately, and was hit by a wave of it afterwards, but we had a very enlightening talk and now I feel good.

I am such a nerd when it comes to quiz bowl, especially with Literature. Unfortunately, I have horrible reflexes.

YDload 12-04-2005 12:54 AM

I was really bad with literature until college, but by then it was too late :(

I liked questions about geography or US presidents. I was on a high school quiz show broadcast on a local TV station and my team won

Zmev 12-04-2005 03:03 AM

A question was when was the year Nixon was in an election for office.

I said 1970.

And then 72.

And then 74.

So I spent about 6 hours of my Saturday working on writing/recording this:

http://s53.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=1LL5NFJ2QU6KS1WGYYR44NJCHV

Any idea what it should be called?

The original idea, a dreamy piece in the key of F# minor employing 3/4 time, Waltz-like accents, was meant to express feelings for a girl. The way it actually ended up, though, it doesn't really sound like her. Is it still about her?

moaner 12-04-2005 03:26 PM

that song is for, and not about, a girl.

Tangy zizzle 12-04-2005 03:43 PM

Alex, is this the nice little biscuit that you were diggin' about this time last year?

The brunette one?

Interstate 12-04-2005 04:11 PM

So I watched Dodgeball for the first time today and I was really disappointed after all the hype my friend kept giving me about it.

Man that boy is going to get such a slap.

Robert Crumb 12-04-2005 04:12 PM

Take her name and make an anagram. There's your title. Unless her name is like Sue. Then just use her whole name or something. Neat little piece.

Zappa 12-04-2005 04:15 PM
Alex, is this the nice little biscuit that you were diggin' about this time last year?

No, and I don't even know who you're talking about. Ah, to be a fickle teenager.

EDIT: I was going to call it "Beartrap," a play on her last-name, but that REALLY doesn't fit. I've got thinking to do.

Robert Crumb 12-04-2005 04:33 PM

Anagrams of my name:

Burrito Spillage
Laborer Pugilist
Burlap Trilogies
Bruiser Gallipot
Guerillas Probit
Irrigable Poults
Burglaries Pilot
Gulpier Strobila

I think I'm going to start using Bruiser Gallipot as an alias.

JonM 12-04-2005 04:37 PM

I'll listen to it when I'm done with this pile of CDs.

The best anagram of my full name:
"Hot jail maniacal stench"

moaner 12-04-2005 04:39 PM

where you find those?

JonM 12-04-2005 04:53 PM

Just google "name anagram."

Glitterati 12-04-2005 05:04 PM

Fiddy Cent was here last night.

6Stringer 12-04-2005 05:41 PM

Kanye West came to my city about a month or so ago. I'm really digging David Bowie's Diamond Dogs today. I forgot how much of a great album it is.

I need that album, seeing as I consider myself a Bowie fanboy yet only have two albums. It has Rebel Rebel, which I love.

I worked on writing a play today.
