I'm not sure he can hit the top notes like he used to.

And if it were written for Blaze, Blaze can go deeper and still keep a normal sounding singing voice (Bruce switches to booming-speaking type voice alá Fear Of The Dark at RiR). By tuning 2 steps down, Bruce could sing it a 6th higher then Blaze did and so get through the whole thing in a comfortable range for him.

I haven't yet listened to the original, though, so I wouldn't know.

I'd be up for DoD, I'd have to learn it all, I only know about half of it at the moment.

EdwardTheGreat 02-08-2006 12:21 PM

Have they always brought albums out later in America or is it a new response to the Sharon thing? I swear they are the only band to release things here first, although thats to be expected as they are English I suppose.

i only know about half of it too, although it wouldn't hurt to add another song to my repertoire.

It's not that difficult, should take me about a week to get it, but I'm relearning HBTN at the moment, seems there are bits which don't sound right when I play it.

Paschendale on the hand is 'kin hard with the tab I've got, gonna look for another that might be in the right key!

Try finding a PowerTab of it if you can. Those things make it damn easy to learn songs.

I had a look and some parts are just in a different octave and due to my pickups being crap, it's better to play it lower on my guitar.

Were do you guys download Powertabs from? I still don't know what the deal with them is (what makes them different from a normal tab?)

Aaron_Of_Oz 02-10-2006 03:55 PM

Is a powertab like a Guitar Pro tab?

they let you hear the tab and slow it down and stuff.

temporary 02-10-2006 04:25 PM
they let you hear the tab and slow it down and stuff.
Cool, what website can you get them from?

Deth 02-10-2006 04:55 PM

I got it from powertabs.net in the forums. I don't know if it's still there though with the current situation.

I use ultimate-guitar.com to get the powertabs now.

It has the parts in lower octaves in the rhythm slashes, I think.

I'm gonna change it when I can be bothered :p

Also, when I got GP5, I got the full (At the time) my song book archives. It's about 350mb, so I don't know if I can upload it for anyone (for some reason YSI doesn't like me sending big files/folders and I hate all the other ones)
