I was very tempted to buy a book of Paul McCartney's art today at a secondhand store for $10, but I eventually put it back. I think I'm going to go back Friday and see if its still there. I am terribly stingy with my money.
I drove for the first time today. What a doozy.
Ha, I hit a cactus the first time got behind the wheel. Crap, I was 14 that was a ways back.

biografiend 08-15-2005 02:05 PM

The day I got my license I backed into a clothesline pole. :-/

Electrocution 08-15-2005 02:11 PM

I watched my mom back into a dumpster.

Zmev 08-15-2005 02:15 PM

I'm going for my liscense when I turn 18 (4 1/2 months).

My mom might buy a new car and if she does I get her old one. 2002 Mercedes Benz

As am I. I barely buy anything except CDs. I spend probably 98% of my money on CDs

Dog 08-15-2005 03:35 PM

I buy too many sporks. :( :( :(

I hit a giant flower pot on the sidewalk because I ran over the curb taking a turn yesterday... That reminds me, I haven't even told my parents yet. I suppose they haven't noticed the massive dent in the side.

..I think I'll just wait this one out, see what happens.

Well, they're one of those things you can never have enough of.

sweboy 08-15-2005 03:50 PM

Sup thread. Does anyone know how to reach hidden tracks on CD:s? I have a CD where there should be a song hidden between track 1 and track 2, but I can't reach it. Is it even possible to hide songs like that, and in that case, is it possible to reach it with just a regular CD player?

snidget 08-15-2005 03:52 PM

I think you'd go to the beginning of track 2 and hold rewind

Glitterati 08-15-2005 04:09 PM

I like your user title.

You also have to pat your head with one hand and rub your stomach with the other, I believe.

Thank you, that makes up for the wierd, unfamiliar form of sarcasm that DITS used on me

sweboy 08-15-2005 04:13 PM

I've tried that, without luck. I've always tried it the other way around.

EDIT: But I haven't tried DogInTheSand's suggestion, I'll do that.

EDIT 2: It's bloody hard!

Dog 08-15-2005 04:19 PM

My friend once had a cd that had a secret track, but you had to skip through all the tracks on the cd like a 100 times, and then on the 101th time, at the end of the cd, a new hidden track would appear. It was weird.

But oh boy the feeling you get when you accomplish that feat.

Glitterati 08-15-2005 04:26 PM

I just fell down a flight of stairs.

Dog 08-15-2005 04:27 PM

Were you wearing a helmet?

snidget 08-15-2005 04:28 PM

Someone's in a playful mood

Glitterati 08-15-2005 04:29 PM
Were you wearing a helmet?
Nope. Everything's still intact, though.

I'm making up for it by listening to Run DMC.

That shot to the head sure impaired you.

That is insane. Do you know what CD it was?

Zmev 08-15-2005 04:39 PM

Nine Inch Nail's Broken Ep has 8 or so tracks, and then 90 tracks of nothing and then 2 other tracks.

On a sidenote, I just read Bob Dylan's "You're gonna make me lonesome" as "You're gonna make me lemonade".

YDload 08-15-2005 04:54 PM
Yea, i'm old. It's depressing
:amaze: that's not very old, really.

older than me though :(

ATM 08-15-2005 04:54 PM

I'd like some lemonade right about now.

Glitterati 08-15-2005 05:05 PM

I think I'm the youngest one here.

sweboy 08-15-2005 05:07 PM

So do I.
