Nah, it probably (and hopefully) means that they didn't check the things properly.
According to my info new students can get a rom in the facility I opted for.
But since they think I'm not a new student anymore, they won't give me a room there.
We'll see.
I think it'll work out fine.

EDIT:
I already received an answer from the housing company.
Apparantly some mistake in submitted data.
It's been changed to the correct date now and I'll receive and new letter shortly.
With corrected date and highest priority class, since I live more then two hours away from uni (by train).

But nevertheless strange; When I tried to get a place, I was just able to get a 2-ppl-room, which I didn't want to get; Single rooms get only students who are studying at least one year; So I went to a normal flat and after one year I asked again and moved in.
