oh right, that thing

theres this thing where you sort of strum the string at a higher fret, like you're tapping but you keep the pick depressed against the srting and just vibrate it on and off the string as fast as possible, untill it sounds like inhumanly extremely fast tapping, which is also cool

It's a good book, but I did need some time to 'get into' the story.
