Decided to stop procrastinating and listen to some older, rawer, 'tr00er' black metal.

Listened to Immortal's Pure Holocaust album yesterday. The rawness and intensity of it really appealed to me. I never thought I'd like raw black metal.

God I sound like a total n00b now.

Now listen to Mayhem, Burzum and Darkthrone, they're much better.

DFMM is enjoyable, but that's as far as I go.

I never listen to Pure Holocaust, where as I'll listen to some of DMDS everynow and then. There's some great, evil parts/riffs.
