Because, in live ****, it hadn't been a great length of time since Jason had joined, and as we all know, Jason had some pretty big shoes to fill.... I know that he was rejected quite a bit at first, and therefore, the more Musically tallented he appears the better the outcome, i also think Jaymez likes the opertunity to go have a beer lol :chug: :naughty:
I like his grunt in Sandman, one and creeping death. When he does them live of course. Me personally, i like Jason. I think he's talanted and he brought a good attitude to the band and had a dynamic stage presence. |

IMO, anyone who denys Jason's stage presence, is a fool. |
What did jason sing anyways? which songs?
|
Weird
i'd neg rep you for that post
well,KEA was recorded in 17 days....
only because they knew all the songs before they were signed. they practiced for years and years before they got the deal and started recording. by then they got everthing down easily |
What did jason sing anyways? which songs?
Quite a few.... Not on the albums i dont think lol, Just live... On live binge and purge he sings 98% of Seek and destroy.... It that a mistake near the intro, or were they meant to stop? They kinda just stop and all you hear is the bass drum with Jason shouting Eh! Eh! Eh! over the top of it lol... |
Jason also sings on Whiplash, apparently James finds the lyrics cringeful.
|
i'd neg rep you for that post
Why? |

i'd neg rep you for that post
Why?
"weird" is pretty much like spam, its a useless post and doesn't make any point.
Quite a few.... Not on the albums i dont think lol, Just live... I must say when St Anger was released, i think it got to number 3 in the charts over here and they played live on there, and he sounded really bad lol.... I wasn't happy all my scally friends kept chanting 'Flush it out, Flush it out' They soon stopped when i told them they sounded just like him lol. In all fairness though Kirks voice has improved a lot recently. It reminds me of years ago I would go to a wedding and all these old women would pinch my cheeks and say awww you will be next! They soon stopped that when i started saying it back to them at funerals!! lmao :naughty: :D |

I was saying Weird to "Chu's" post because it didn't make any sence. I ought to neg rep u for making a big deal out of nothing. |
I'm 99% sure that Kirk not James played the leads on KEA.
I'm 100% sure Kirk wasn't in the band during KEA. but you know how they auditioned rob? they played a few songs with him. maybe kirk already knew some of the songs just from being a fan |

but you know how they auditioned rob? they played a few songs with him. maybe kirk already knew some of the songs just from being a fan
More than likely.. He was in Exodus at the time, and its obvious that he was a very tallented guitarist right from the start, he had probably saw Metallica playing a hundred times, maybe even gone to there house parties... I know the exodus manager of the time went to Metallicas parties... |
no one has any rep points
I don't understand how the system works  |

Well this thought is my own, i could be entirely wrong, but i think Kirk helped with the making of Seek and Destroy... It seems very different to the other songs on the album, and it matches some of Kirks work in later albums.. Just my thought though... p.s They forgot my username on that list lol |
