Good night all. ****ty job in the morning. :upset:
Fun talking about scythes and thongs with all of you. |
Mastodon - Levithan is not that great of an album.
:( :( You dont think so? So many amazing songs. I am Ahab is one of my favorite songs, plus the way it is mixed and put together the album as whole is just incredible. |
Paul Lo Duca, the ex-Dodgers catcher...Paul DePodesta (the Dodgers' GM) got a lot of criticism for trading him because he was considered the clubhouse leader.
Yeah, that's him. He was awesome. First time up to bat and everyone was chanting his name; all the latinos.
Speaking of hitting streaks, Johnny Damon is at 25 and counting...
He is so cool! I loved watching the Red Sox win. I only saw the last two games though.
My favorite has been Luis Castillo ever since that 30 something hitting streak, the way he beat out all those infield hits, hes just awesome.
He's great, so is Alex Gonzales. We have a friend whose last name is Castillo, so they go nuts everytime Luis comes on.
Good night all. ****ty job in the morning. :upset: Fun talking about scythes and thongs with all of you.
Night! |
Yeah, that's him. He was awesome. First time up to bat and everyone was chanting his name; all the latinos.
Latinos go nuts over baseball...did you see the Dominicans at the Home Run Derby? What a crazy bunch.
He is so cool! I loved watching the Red Sox win. I only saw the last two games though.
Games 4 and 5 of the 2004 ALCS are two of the five best baseball games I have ever seen. |
Mastodon - Levithan is not that great of an album.
I liked it. I thought it was one of the better albums that I've heard. Sure, nothing spectacular(except the drumming) but it's still a pretty good listen. |
I'm surprised Ichiro doesn't have a long hitting streak. He could very well retire with 3,000+ hits.
I dont know, he is 31, and at this rate he would need to play 8 more years to get to that mark. Plus I think he will slow down compared to his first 4 seasons. |
:( :( You dont think so? So many amazing songs. I am Ahab is one of my favorite songs, plus the way it is mixed and put together the album as whole is just incredible.
I like a few songs by them, but most of the album just bores me. |

Yeah, I have to admit Johnny Damon and Big Poppa are the yankees "daddys". :upset: |
Latinos go nuts over baseball...did you see the Dominicans at the Home Run Derby? What a crazy bunch.
Oh god. I know. You forget that I go to see games at Dolphin stadium. This one time, we sat in a great section, but with all these (some drunk) college kids. It was the most fun I've ever had at a game. We won for loudest section; krispy kreme doughnuts, 12 per ticket. There was going to be a kick ass after party (the Marlins won, which made it better) at the Krispy Kreme. I didn't get to go though. :upset: So I gave our tickets to this crazy college dude who was standing in the hallway yelling out "I've got 60 doughnuts!" |
Johnny Damon used to be a pretty good skateboarder. :p Too bad he was better at baseball. /-:
|
I dont know, he is 31, and at this rate he would need to play 8 more years to get to that mark. Plus I think he will slow down compared to his first 4 seasons.
He has 1,037 hits through four and a half seasons; by the end of this season he will probably have around 230 hits, putting him at about 1,157 through five. Another five years he'll be 37 and will be about halfway there. He has no real injury history so he could pull a Rickey Henderson and play til he's about 45 and then get it there. |
Ray, we are still first in the AL East, right?

I have bad memories of that stadium. My friends live in I think its called Weston Florida and last year we went to see the Fish play the Browns on Sunday night. It was cold out, the final score was 10-7, barely any action, all the Browns did was give the ball to Suggs, he had nearly 50 carries. |
RCA: Yeah
Yeah, I have to admit Johnny Damon and Big Poppa are the yankees "daddys".
"Big Poppa"? This is David Ortiz we're talking about, not Biggie Smalls!
Oh god. I saw a really really bad FAU Owls game against some other team. It was so sad. It ended up being Owls 40 something to nothing. All we kept hearing was the announcer saying "and it's another FAU first doooown...." It got really annoying after a while. We ended up rooting for the other team. |

I wonder if Tedi Bruschi will play a good bit next season.
We've got all kinds at this stadium. All kinds. And most of them are drunk.
Drunk? Well, duh, it's a baseball game :p Manny and Ortiz have picked up the torch from Pedro, but a lot more people like Manny and Ortiz than they did Pedro, because Pedro was kind of idiosynchratic and strong-willed and alienating. I loved him, though.
I wonder if Tedi Bruschi will play a good bit next season.
He probably won't :( I hope he does, though. |

Didnt he have a stroke or something? If he did play it would be impressive. |
So sad....http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/boxscore?gid=20041226015
A real barnburner  All I remember about the Browns last season was that they finally fired Butch Davis (a clown, one of the worst coaches and personnel men in NFL history) and in the first game with the interim coach, the Pats spanked 'em 42-15. |

Yep. I'm hoping he plays, but I don't want him to worsen his condition. I'd rather him not play and get better, than to play, get hurt, and possibly be out for a long time. |
True. I always thought that the drunk dudes were at the football games, though.
Oh, no. Baseball gives you more opportunities to get beer (ie, between innings or when your team is pitching). I want Bruschi to just sit this year out and get better, personally. |

Terry Robiskie. We played against his son in High school football, he caught two TDS, had a rushing TD on a reverse, and he brought back a punt. All at OUR homecoming. It was awful. |
Wow. Holy fuck me, it's almost midnight. I better get going before my mom comes home and murders me for being on the internet this late.
I'll see you around, boys. |

 Actually, Dan Shaughnessy (a columnist for The Globe, and a pretty horrible one at that) has a kid who goes to a high school who was in the same League as my old HS in HS sports and plays basketball and baseball...long story short, he sucks. Night Leah. |
My cousin played against Randy Moss in highschool football. Yay?
|
Any hockey fans here? I'm glad an agreement is being reached.

I dont know if I have told this before but... A guy named Jim Chones used to play for the cavs, and he had triplets who were all 6'7" and they came to my school so we were amazing that year. We played SVSM with LeBron on it at Cleveland State University, and Shaq and Ron Harper showed up at the game, I was there, pretty cool stuff. We ended up losing the game but not by much.
Any hockey fans here? I'm glad an agreement is being reached.
SO happy, I love the Sabres. |
People around here are excited that hockey's coming back, because we have the Wings, but I was never a huge hockey fan. Unlike the rest of Detroit.
|
Speaking of the Wings, Chris Chelios played in the Legends/Celebrity Softball game and hit a homer. :D
|
Can anyone in here YSI guitar pro 4 for me?

In other news, that new kid on MTV Andy Milonakis, you know the child with his own lame show.
