I'm not sure if the Gospel **** is real.

But they're the only band that's acutally doing something interesting in emo, so **** any of you naysayers.

I never dug Gospel much but that does suck.

How can anyone be bored with that album?! I bought that album about a year ago and I still don't get bored when I listen to it.

^Exactly. I have listened to that album too many times to count and it seems I still find something "new" about it when I listen to it.

honestly i just don't really like the way it sounds. if that's worth anything.

i know the amount of technique and originality on it is pretty cool, but it doesn't mean anything if you don't like the way it sounds.

i remember towards the end thinking there was no way card was going to be able to end it in the few pages that were left, but he showed me. haha

it was an ok book, entertaining, but thats about it.

I heard the first track from the new TMV on their myspace and it was really bad.

its been more than a few years since i read it, but from what i remember, its a sci fi book about a young kid that is sent off to a military academy to train to command forces in a war to fight off aliens i guess, i don't really remember who the enemy was that well. anyway, the kid, ender, is like the best of the best and their only chance to win the war.

basically yeah. it's not like super "deep" or anything but it's definitely easy to get into. i don't really like books that much but i thought it was a pretty fun and easy read.

it's sci fi, i'm reading it for science fiction class

it's basically about how the world got attacked by these aliens and the humans were basically getting zwned by them, but then they come back miraculously and fend them off. the world comes together to protect themselves against the aliens, and all the smartest kids in the world get sent to this space school where they take part in these strategy games, kinda like quidditch but with guns. it's all about how they take this kid and manipulate his entire life just for there one goal of destroying the aliens, and when he finally destroys them, he realizes the aliens were misunderstood originally, and they never really meant to hurt people.

and what kind of stuff does that xiu xiu band that you mention play? i just saw that they are coming here in a couple weeks.
