so i always assumed that my boss would have assumed i smoke/smoked pot, but i found out last night she thinks i've never touched the stuff. i never said i did, but i've never had to deny it either.

all the other people above her thought i was a big stoner but she convinced them to hire me. awesome.

Arriving Somewhere,Porcupine Tree is the thing.

Win A Rabbit 04-27-2008 09:18 PM

so my band is potentially going to do a rage-ish cover of a dolly parton song. much potential, i can already see where i want to go with it. will be awesome.

I'm skipping class tomorrow because I feel asleep and didn't wake up until kinda late, and not only do I not feel like driving 5 hours in the middle of the night to go back home, my boyfriend doesn't want me to die in a car crash at 2 in the morning.

Oops, heh.

But then, I haven't skipped class on purpose for no reason at ALL this entire year, so, nyah.

oliv_da_skinmasher 04-27-2008 09:20 PM

Awsome Pink Floyd on my stereo

Guys help me determine whether I'm crazy or not.

So last night I had this dream. I dreamt that I was still in the pit band playing for the musical production that just finished on saturday. In my dream I would be like "oh shi, i can't fall asleep or I'll miss my cue", and then I would wake up in my bed and be like "dammit, must go back to sleep". But then a similar thing happens and I keep waking up throughout the night.
I've had these kinds of dreams for almost every production I've been in, and I have similar ones during exam time at the end of every semester. I also used to have dreams like this about swimming practice when I used to be in synchronized swimming, usually when a big competition was coming up.

Has anyone else ever had these kinds of dreams that keep waking them up all night?

Anyone else I've ever told about these dreams thinks I'm crazy :(

fishbulb 04-27-2008 10:03 PM

EDIT: Girl you crazy.
Arriving Somewhere,Porcupine Tree is the thing.
That's what i was thinking, but i've seen that 4+ times.

Never gets old, though.

_Wrathchild_ 04-27-2008 10:33 PM

Yay, finally someone else who has these dreams.
I guess its just a sign of being stressed or overworked or something.

Sunshine 04-27-2008 10:35 PM

My dreams are weird too, but in an unrelated way. I think everyone has weird dream..things.

Like, my boyfriend's exgirlfriend caused much stress and pain to me, for years.
And every now and again I have these nightmares about her and I wake up feeling all awful and texting my boyfriend.
Last time it happened, he let me in on something: every single morning I texted him about my nightmare, he had talked to her for an extended period of time the night before, but there was never a night where he talked to her without me having a nightmare. It was really weirding him out, too.

Since he told me that, he hasn't really talked to her much, and I've been nightmare free.
