Has anyone seen The Bank Job? And if so what did they think of it? I've seen good reviews of it but I have a bad feeling it's gonna be a bit of a letdown.

YD, the Fight Club was awesome. Here's a post I made about it:

My friend told me to meet him at 9th and M in DC and he knew of a sweet place. Went with my roommates in the freezing cold night, found him, and he led us down this alleyway. All the way in the back was a small door which you had do duck to get under.

A woman took our 10 bucks donation, and sent us in telling us we were about to have the most fun we ever had. As you walk inside, there is a humongous skate park where people are doing all these tricks. There were skateboards flying everywhere, and a guy next to me got hit in the head.

As you walk around the corner, there was tables set up with ridiculous food. They had pots of stew and soup, cake, baked potatoes, vegetables, and 7 kegs of beer. The guy who runs the place was walking around with hennessey and vodka and pouring it in peoples glasses.

There was a stage set up where 4 punk bands played, and everyone was moshing into each other. We were smoking joints just standing right outside the pit. It was the most epic night ever.

Here is a pic of the last band that was playing. Notice the guy in the top left:

After the bands, it turned into a giant dance party and we stayed until 3:30am and almost missed the last train. We stayed there for 6 hours haha

wow, that sounds like an amazing secret i hope it doesnt get shut down someday :(

Yes. What do you want to do/see?

I would advise you to cruise around South Street. There's plenty of shops/interesting things going on, and it's a relatively well-known shopping and tourist destination. South St. recommendations - Maoz falafel restaurant (approximately 4th and South St), Relapse Record Store (on 4th street just off of South) if you're into vinyl, the Wooden Shoe (an anarchist/quaint bookstore with all kinds of neat stuff/people inside [sometimes]), maybe Condom Kingdom (novelty store, meh).

Check out some parks (Fairmount and Clark Park are pretty nice). Go to the Art Museum and pretend to be Rocky. There's the Franklin Institute (user-friendly science museum with a ginormous IMAX screen), and also the Mutter Museum, which is pretty awesome. It's a museum, I think a part of Penn's medical school or something, full of crazy and creepy medical abnormalities in jars and glass cases. It's inexpensive and pretty strange.
