So yesterday and today, I performed my little magic show...it went kind of alright. Messed up one of my tricks and I was nervous as hell :p. Atleast we made the people laugh.

Hah, magic. I got break in a couple days, woo hoo. I'm off for like a week. It's weird, we get off a week of school and we getit off because t's "mid-winter break" :lol: it's just another excuse for teachers to be lazy asses.

I was so freakin' sick today I had to call in sick at work, which I pretty much never do. I also have to make a long trip out to Lancaster, Ca which is like 15-17 miles (with no car, gotta go by bus) just to go to see my doctor.

What does the ^ mean?

Hey, I'm sorry to interupt whatever I may be interupting, but I need advice on being social.

One of my friends from school told me that a lot of people were saying that I have no life, and that I am dull and such. I also know that a lot of people say I don't talk a lot and other stuff. My friend also said that it could be because of different things. Like how I walk for example. He says I walk with my hands in my pockets the whole time, and I walk slumped over weird. He also says that it could be because of the way I talk and how I say my words.

My defense for this is that I walk with my hands in my pockets because when I walk with my hands out of them, they don't really swing naturally like everyone elses. So I get comments saying that I walk like Napoleon Dynamite and all that bs. When I try and swing my arms manually, I'm said to look like a robot. So I just put my hands in my pockets, I really don't see the big deal. I also walked slumped over because I feel that I'll fall over backwards when I walk with a straight posture, plus it hurts my back to walk straight up and down. Now about how I talk. It's not that my voice is weird, it's just I'm sometimes unheard. It even happens on these goddamn forums, which I expect will happen now. I say something and everyone either ignores me, or looks at me like I just shoved a dildo up my nose. So I just prefer and not try to get into conversations (in real life). But this leads people to thinking I'm anti-social, and I don't want people to think that. I want to be able to talk to people with the upmost confidence and be able to get into conversations easier.

If anyone could give me some advice, I'd really really appreciate it. :)

I would just try to relax and by a nice guy, and don't worry about how you walk. Also, you have to recognize that it looks like you're being anti-social based on the way you described your situation, so I would just try make maybe more of an effort to be outgoing.

I'm not the most outgoing guy in the world, usually in school (in most classes) I'm pretty quiet, but I'll make conversation with people in the hall wall, at lunch, etc.

What grade are you in, anyway? Your situation seems different than mine because at my high school not many people are likely to make fun of other people's walks or if they have no life. My school is very segregated into cliques though, so that might be part of the reason. Either way, it doesn't seem like people get made fun of around here just for being regular guys.
