JACK! 05-23-2005 04:22 PM

Woo! I've just ordered the Shai Hulud/Another Victim split. I havn't heard it but I like both bands so I'm hopefull.

cbmartinez 05-23-2005 04:24 PM

I'm listening to WBW. Honestly, it's just pop-punk, popcore if you will.

NewKindofArmy03 05-23-2005 04:25 PM

Man, this sucks. I'm making up some thrash song with a metalcore intro and my arm starts to hurt so much in the middle since it's just fast down picking.

Let's Chop Cats! 05-23-2005 04:26 PM

Alternate pick.

I don't understand where you're getting pop-punk from.

What about it is pop or punk?

Let's Chop Cats! 05-23-2005 04:27 PM

Isn't that Posifest '04?

How long have you been playing?

CONNER_NWHC 05-23-2005 04:28 PM

I think it is.

It has to be, I'm pretty sure Desperate Measures wouldn't be playing this.

WHAT?!

You got my hopes up for nothing.

BuddyBigsby 05-23-2005 04:30 PM

Haha, they expect Internal Affairs to play a 45 minute set.

EDIT: Or expected, rather.
You east coast bastards!
exactly.

NewKindofArmy03 05-23-2005 04:43 PM

I got it from B9, I thought it looked similar to last year too.
How long have you been playing?
I'm ashamed to tell people, but 2 years. I've just started trying to learn more styles and stuff. I need to start lessons again this summer too.

NewKindofArmy03 05-23-2005 04:45 PM

Haha, nevermind. You should all give your hopes up. The site it led me to had the 04 info, don't know why it's linked on B9s homepage then. After just looking at it again, I figured something was wrong.

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 05-23-2005 04:53 PM

I want the number twelve looks like you to come and play here so bad

shane italian 05-23-2005 05:12 PM

F'uck Get Up Kids. I don't feel like jeporadizing MLIW.

NewKindofArmy03 05-23-2005 05:32 PM

I'm listening to some of the new Throwdown. It reminds me of a watered down, nowhere near as good Pantera.

shane italian 05-23-2005 05:32 PM
I'm listening to some of the new Throwdown. It reminds me of a watered down, nowhere near as good Pantera.
Exactly what my friend said the other night. I'm not even going to bother listening to it. Dave ruined that band.

Let's Chop Cats! 05-23-2005 05:46 PM

The new CD is so boring. The lyrics aren't even entertaining.

oopyman 05-23-2005 05:47 PM

I like the new CD a lot. More than Haymaker.

_Tyler 05-23-2005 05:47 PM

Where can I hear.

NewKindofArmy03 05-23-2005 05:48 PM

It's definately better then the stuff i've heard from Haymaker.

NewKindofArmy03 05-23-2005 05:48 PM

_Tyler 05-23-2005 05:51 PM

I like it a LOT better than anything else by them. It's almost like thrash metal.

NewKindofArmy03 05-23-2005 05:54 PM

Yeah, it also made me put on some Pantera. Some parts are good, but others i'm not really into though.

shane italian 05-23-2005 05:54 PM

Whatever, nothing will ever be as good as anything off of You Don't Have To Blood To Be Family.
