I don't like Slayer since I find them extremely forgettable. I just don't see why they have the status they have. Alright, they had five good albums but in the later they screwed it up and didn't have much to give except for some juicy nu metal offerings. Why still respect them and why still go crazy over these posers? Just like Metallica. >->

Hmm...I don't know, for me the true fan has to objectively judge the band and not blindly following it.

Slayer is pretty terrible, minus old-school gems like Show No Mercy.

Divine Intervention has it's moments, and by that, I mean it has Dittohead.

I guess it's the same as people always typing "TRASH METAL" and being totally oblivious to their blunder.

Divine Intervention is a good album; very underrated. Killing Fields, Sex. Murder. Art, Dittohead, Circle of Beliefs, and Serenity in Murder are all awesome.

Anyone here listen to De Lirium's Order? Corpse from Deathchain does the vocals for that band. They play melodic-death/thrash...really cool stuff.

becuase Show No Mercy may possibly be the perfect 80s metal album, and Haunting the Chapel and Hell Awaits contain some of the most evil thrash riffmonsters ever written.
