why even try anything else when i've been using iTUNES for like 3 years and never once had a problem

Well considering iTunes doesn't support .flac (which I rip all my cds in), I have to sign up for the iTunes store to have it download the album artwork, and it won't dynamically watch my library, I don't think I'm interested. Foobar doesn't dynamically watch your library either, but since it's so customizable, it's worth it.

I would use foobar but I just dont want to.

winamp sound quality is way better than itunes and since im not a fag with an ipod

Winamp is good too. The other thing that annoyed me when I was using iTunes, I had to leave it for hours while it was getting "gapless playback information" for all my songs which seriously took hours. Other players that use gapless playback had my library up in no time.

dude, the default sound quality for iTunes isn't that great, but you can change the settings for higher quality. and iPODs rule, well, they're starting to. i used to have a 2nd generation it pretty much sucked but the new iPOD classics are awesome.

I almost bought a Zen but I already had all my music set up in itunes so i got an ipod instead. otherwise i'd probably be using winamp.

that's true about the codecs, winamp will play pretty much anything. i've never used a zen so i can't argue there either

i hate converting all the files over if you get something new, such a pain through itunes
converting wma's to the acc file that itunes uses

Yep. It takes up about half as much as most loseless formats as far as I know.

the Zen is thicker and doesn't have a very long battery life compared to the iPOD, but for watching movies and sh*t, the Zen is far superior. i've seen the colors on it are TONS better. personally, i'd rather have something thinner that has a longer battery life as i don't see much point in watching movies in a 2" screen anyway

me neither, i had an old 30 gig model a while back and i loved it, ended up selling it and getting the 30 gig zune

I use a DVD player and TV to watch movies, so yeah.
