I actually prefer it, but not by any real considerable margin. It just feels like there's a newfound sense of urgency on it, and the riffs just click with me. It does seem to drag at parts but at it's best it's stronger than IB for me. I really like the new vocalist; it took me a bit to notice the difference between him and the previous dude but I like how guttural and nasty his voice is.

Lots of GBK-isms on the album, that's for sure.

Is that the US Burial? If so, I think the vocalist is all right. Kind of like SBG-era Chuck Schulinder. A bit more annoying, maybe, but doesn't detract from the music.

The cd is good, but live I found it difficult to take them seriously. The lead singer played air guitar too much and they try too hard to be black metal. I know I should judge them by their music, but c'mon.
