ATM 08-13-2005 05:00 PM

I'm only making 7 bucks an hour, but all I really do is drink coffee, listen to music, and talk about music in the AC.

br3ad_man 08-13-2005 05:01 PM

That's awesome man. I've only had one interview and it was a group one at the cinemas. They said they'd call by Monday if they want you for an individual interview. It's now Sunday morning. I'm not giving up hope, but still, it doesn't seem incredibly likely.

ATM 08-13-2005 05:03 PM

On Friday we listened to Shpongle.

Gnarmageddon 08-13-2005 05:08 PM

There's a local music store here that's really cool. I might consider applying for a job there if they're hiring.

br3ad_man 08-13-2005 05:14 PM

Apply anyway, then you might get a call when they do start hiring.

Gnarmageddon 08-13-2005 05:16 PM

Ah, good idea.

Hell, I do that at home all day!

Happymeal 08-13-2005 07:51 PM

Man I love barbecuing.

ATM 08-13-2005 07:53 PM

Animals are tasty.

Zmev 08-13-2005 07:55 PM

Especially dead ones.

Happymeal 08-13-2005 07:57 PM

Dogs are tasty, or so I've heard.

ATM 08-13-2005 07:58 PM

Ask a Korean.

Iai 08-13-2005 08:31 PM

I'm watching this film that just came on C4 called Georgia. John Doe from X is in it.

/useful post

Zmev 08-13-2005 08:36 PM

How is it?

Iai 08-13-2005 08:42 PM

It's alright. Pretty gritty. It's about this girl whose sister is a big folk star, and she wants to be famous too. She's in a covers band that you see play pretty often - they just covered I'll Be Your Mirror.

br3ad_man 08-13-2005 08:45 PM

I just cried in a Star Trek episode :upset:

Iai 08-13-2005 08:52 PM

HAHAHAHAHA YOU FAG

br3ad_man 08-13-2005 09:06 PM

I was hoping for a hug, but ok.

Iai 08-13-2005 09:18 PM

br3ad_man 08-13-2005 10:21 PM

I've just started reading Harry Potter. I would have been mad if it wasn't for you redeeming yourself with that Tangy impression.

YDload 08-13-2005 10:27 PM

speaking of people getting mad at me for talking about that book, has anyone seen Bartender lately?

asymm 08-13-2005 10:34 PM

As I was watching a movie tonight a song popped into my head and I had no idea what it was... So I started searching through my playlist hoping to trigger my thought and remember what it was. At first I thought it was Low so I searched all of that, then Readymade, then Slowdive, but then it turned out to be the song "Errance" from Early Day Miners. So odd because I've never been that partial to them. Heh, makes me enjoy this song much more at this very moment.

Zappa 08-13-2005 10:35 PM

I'm pretty sure Tender is away.

Kyle 08-14-2005 08:51 AM

Would somebody here be able to scan the covers from the Arcade Fire album (funeral). I have the Cd from the yousendit thread but never listen to it because it doesn't feel like a real cd, Im wondering If I could package the cd in a proper case whether I would listen to it more. I would be really grateful of a scan of the front cover and then the back with the side bit.

P.S I know this sounds real weird but I have done this before and I have listened to it a whole lot more as a result.

Early Day Miners are alright. I hate it when that happens.

I used to be able to recite the whole intro to Star Trek when I was little. I used to love Star Trek, especially the guy who looked like Lavar Burton from Reading Rainbow (maybe it was Lavar Burton?) with the headband over his eyes.

/hugs br3ad
I just cried in a Star Trek episode :upset:
Haha, you have emotions.

In other news, morning everyone :o <<<<<<<< that's me yawning

Electrocution 08-14-2005 10:13 AM

Emotions are what women have. They come from their ovaries.
