You can get the cd version off of 29northrecords for like $5 or 6$ though.

cbmartinez 09-10-2006 04:13 PM

Thats a pretty nice list. How was Amanda Woodward? I sometimes dream that one day a good band will come to North Carolina, lol.

cbmartinez 09-10-2006 04:14 PM

Go see Hopesfall.

They ruled. Their drummer's sick. I got this awesome piratey AW tee. This really cool dutch hxc band also opened for them.
Go see Hopesfall.
I would if they actually played some shows.

Dancin' Man 09-10-2006 04:28 PM

I'd love some YSI's. Also, whoever had that Yaphet Kotto, I'd dig on that as well. I'll keep my eyes open for requests I can satisfy.

I don't know if any of you know the band Damiera but I'll upload their full length. Very sick band, just played their last show on a 115 date tour. It's kind of poppy but also pretty mathy. Not really emo at all, but still excellent.

Probably my favorite song by Welcome the Plague Year, with a close second being Behold A Pale Horse.

Improv 1 Take 1 > Doomsday Parade > Interlude

Those are my 3 favorite songs by WTPY in order. I love WTPY, though. All their songs are sweeeeeeeet.

I find myself humming Interlude a lot

bottlerocket 09-10-2006 08:02 PM

Yeah, it's a great song. The sample at the end of Doomsday Parade and the beginning of Interlude is fantastic.
