Distant Echoes 02-08-2005 08:13 PM

I just got asked to become a mod on some other evolving tab site...

sweet

magicbus 02-08-2005 08:13 PM

We're talking about rep, NEGATIVE rep even, and there's one post every 10 minutes. This is pretty boring.

Kurtz 02-08-2005 08:15 PM

oy,

Bartender 02-08-2005 08:16 PM

Yes, I was just about to say (having caught up on the last dozen pages), please stop with the fucking rep conversations. By all means rep each other, and by all means post about it; but only as footnotes to regular posts. Have some vague conversation going, please.

I'm back, by the way.

Woodstock 02-08-2005 08:16 PM

Who wants to rep me?

Yes, the thread is moving rather slowly tonight.

xxxRoCkJuNkiExxx 02-08-2005 08:16 PM

This is pretty boring...Did anyone have an interesting day?

I can't rep you again yet, Woodstock.

magicbus 02-08-2005 08:17 PM

Hey tender.

Hello Bartender.

Bartender 02-08-2005 08:23 PM

Hello, everyone who said hello.

Any particular variety of Hot Pockets, or just Hot Pockets in general? I'm sure some of them at least suck.

The barbeque Hot Pockts suck major nuts

jpj 02-08-2005 08:25 PM

The breakfast hotpockets are nasty.

Distant Echoes 02-08-2005 08:25 PM

Ive never had hot pockets, but they look good. Are them three flavors they have on the commerical new or just in the same pack now?

Simple Man 02-08-2005 08:25 PM

Let's just go with the ones every one personally likes each and call it good, because hot pockets period own every thing.

xxxRoCkJuNkiExxx 02-08-2005 08:26 PM

Never had a hot pocket. Unless you count school pizza pockets.

They always, no matter what, come out lukewarm and have funny tasting eggs

Congratulations man! :thumb:

magicbus 02-08-2005 08:28 PM

I got lots of praise from my guitar teacher today. I let him know that I had to take a few months off from my lessons, cause they're expensive, and he was cool with it cause he knows that I'll stick with guitar while I'm taking a break.

He basically told me he knows I'm good and progressing, and that he trusts that I won't blow it all.

back to the front 02-08-2005 08:29 PM

Doesn't all that talk of food make you hungry?

Woodstock 02-08-2005 08:29 PM

I've never had a Hot Pocket.

Huber 02-08-2005 08:29 PM

Go get one. Right now. NOW!

Kurtz 02-08-2005 08:30 PM

Jalapeno steak and cheese Hot Pockets pwn.

Permanent Solution 02-08-2005 08:30 PM

I like the bigger hot pockets, but the small ones lack the quality of filling you up. Very disappointing.

How long have you been playing?

magicbus 02-08-2005 08:31 PM
How long have you been playing?
5 years this August.

xxxRoCkJuNkiExxx 02-08-2005 08:33 PM

Now I feel bad. :upset:

Distant Echoes 02-08-2005 08:33 PM

i might be taking a break from drum lessons to take guitar lessons, since i can rip on guitar, but i dont know any scales (except to basics) or notes or whatever.

so im basically capable of playing anything on paper, but cant make a dam thing up to save my life

maybe a few pointers would help

magicbus 02-08-2005 08:43 PM

Learn theory and scales. That's what I've been doing for the last few months.

That's pretty cool :)

Did MX just go down for a few minutes?

Distant Echoes 02-08-2005 08:45 PM

it did for me

Yup, it did.

xxxRoCkJuNkiExxx 02-08-2005 08:47 PM

I just try to play what I hear in my head. Sometimes I have a lot of trouble, but other days I go crazy with ideas. I've only been playing for about a little over a year (teaching myself from my dad's books).

Simple Man 02-08-2005 08:48 PM

I got my accounts merged.

magicbus 02-08-2005 08:48 PM

Yea like I said, learning scales will make it a lot easier to play what's in your head, because then you know what notes to choose from. Its a lot easier than picking random notes of the fretboard.
