I love this album.
Sebadoh - III

wonderful album that I haven't heard in a while. Lou Barlow still has one of indie rock's best voices, and that weird screaming voice they have in "Scars, Four Eyes" and a couple other songs is still cool.
Great album, recently got it, and it's pretty sweet. Doesn't beat Dino in their prime though.
Thats why you're Mote
I was subtly complimenting his eclectisism. I listen to both as well, not *NSYNC, but I don't think theirs anything with liking both of those genres.

Estradasphere - Palace Of Mirrors

And I've rediscovered Alice in Chains by accident. But I forgot how much I love them so I'm going with the flow.

_Mote_ 12-11-2006 04:18 PM

Ugh, I never like Alice in Chains. Damn Nu Grunge *shivers*

I was making up genres. It's what indie snobs do.

AAAAAAAAAAAAND no

Jacaranda 12-11-2006 04:26 PM

you aren't indie.
you aren't indie.
I actually take the term 'indie kid' to be insulting. Same with punk and all those other genres that become stereotypes. So thanks :)

Modest Mouse - The Lonesome Crowded West

This could have been so much better if they knew when to stop jamming out. A lot of the songs last at least two minutes to long and it just kills the album. Still, it's better than The Moon & Antarctica.

Kaizer's Orchestra - Evig Pint

The jamming is the best part?

It is seriously one of the best late night driving albums ever.

It just has such that feel.

Zebra 12-11-2006 08:37 PM

I never said that the jamming was bad, they just need to cut some of it out. Especially on tracks like Truckers Atlas and Lounge.

Montana 12-11-2006 08:50 PM

I recently got into Pigeon John. I heard his track Nothing Without You on the radio and then I hunted down a few more random tracks of his and really liked them. Then on Friday I was listening to the radio and they said he was going to be in town the following night, so I went and had a blast and now I'm completely sold on him. I tried to get some good clips from the show but it was hard to keep my camera steady with all the hand waving. I did get one kinda cool, very short clip of RedCloud, who was touring with PJ, freestyling about a bra. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-SDLg2dA4R8

Pigeon John has a lot of good songs but some are too slow and a bit boring for me. He has such a great attitude and stage presence it's worth it, though.

Kayetan 12-11-2006 09:35 PM

I think I used to dig Pigeon John back in the day.

Anyway...
