I''m just going to be blunt about this

Can someone send me the Insect Warfare full length in a version that is 192kbps or higher?
Which one?

rid 11-16-2007 08:38 PM
they're pretty awful. Just technical for the sake of being technical
if you want less of that then get Mongrel, not older stuff like somebody else mentioned.

i am the robots 11-16-2007 08:43 PM

I like all of their albums, they're not the most amazing thing ever, or grind in any way, but I like them.

LifeInABox 11-16-2007 09:16 PM

What are you talking about? POYRRG was all grind and all awesome.

Tyler 11-16-2007 10:21 PM

In the sense that all of the songs sounded like a mix of 7 Angels 7 Plagues and See You Next Tuesday, I guess.

Tyler 11-17-2007 03:19 PM

I can't stop listening to Swarrrm's Against Again.

RetiredAt21 11-19-2007 01:03 PM

Hbp, if you want to listen to white belt shit, at least listen to a "good" white belt band. The Number 12 is fucking awful. Listen to Operator Dead:Post Abandoned or Robinson.

Except not. They pre-date SYNT by a while and don't take themselves overly serious and don't claim to be "VERY INFLUENCED BY JAZZ".

I always LOL when I see a band says that about themselves.

Tyler 11-19-2007 03:29 PM

Anytime you see Grind/Jazz, you know it's just really awkward grind with atrocious vocals.

Dischord of a Forgotten Sketch

Looked them up because they were playing with Locust at this show I was going to go to. They had one sort of cool jazzy-ish improv song but the rest holds to my formula.

LifeInABox 11-19-2007 07:46 PM

I curse you to this day for missing that :(

Tyler 11-19-2007 07:49 PM

**** paying 15$ to see despised icon (who is bland) and the locust (who is tacky) and two openers that suck

LifeInABox 11-19-2007 08:00 PM

I think I would pay $15 for The Locust.

Tyler 11-19-2007 08:10 PM

I almost never pay that much for gigs.

LifeInABox 11-19-2007 08:20 PM

Well, I am an avid fan and you are not, so our obvious difference is apparent.

Plus I'm a student paying his way through school, so I'm cheap. I like to milk guestlist spots as much as possible.

LifeInABox 11-19-2007 08:26 PM

Wait, you havn't gotten a Show/After Party Scholarship yet?

I was making a comparison, I know they predate CUNT, stop trying to sound knowledgeable.

LifeInABox 11-20-2007 08:59 PM
