I have an 8" K splash that I have had for about a year, I bought it used at GC. It is still in perfect shape, and I am not really a light player either. Those new K custom dark splashes look beautiful, I was thinking about buying one. Or five.

You're right, but I'm under the impression that hes never called this girl before, so it may also be best to not seem all "buddy buddy" with her, which can creep people out sometimes.

I don't think the - giving her time to think of why someone might have called her - is a bad idea, it incites curiosity.

You're also right Seafroggys, the best situation would be the surprise call, where you don't have to deal with the parents or siblings.

I really need a van lol...I mean with my band we can each fit our own gear into our own cars (Dude...I fit my 6 piece with all stands/hardware into my little tiny Nissan Stanza...22x18 bass fit in the passenger seat, I was so amazed!) but with no room for passengers or comfort lol

The recomended calorie intake for men is about 2500 (I think), So, genreally try to keep to that limit, or below it....
Drinking water is a good idea....Or try to eat a lot of Negative Calorie foods (Some Fruits and Vegtables(?)-)...there's lists of them on the internet....
If you google it, you'll probably find out more....

I think if people just eliminated fast food from their diets they'd be amazed at how much healthier they are.

oh god i'm hung over. i drank my mickey (captain mo's, i couldn't get jd) in 2 shots. then we walked around and i had some herb, which got me quite a bit more intoxicated. at which point i had a colt, which just took me over. i couldn't stand straight, and i tried to go to sleep but they said i should keep walking, so i told them i'd go for a walk and fell asleep in the grass (i'm full of mosquito bites) and i threw up quite a bit. not much compared to last time i threw up though. after i did that, they found me and lifted me up (it was 10:00 at this time, there was no way i was going home like that) so we walked around for a while, then they went to my friends house. i didn't feel good standing in one spot, so i stumbled around his block a few times, then went in and sat infront of the ol' bucket. after a while the sickness went away, and i was feeling great again. then i thought it was a good idea to sleep on his table. after about 5 minutes of sleep, it was back up again. i dry heaved for about 10 minutes, then i was good for the rest of the night. i was able to walk home fine, and didn't wake anyone up, which is a very good thing.

any cures for hangovers? this is the worst i've had.

p.s. captain mo got a new label (and bottle altogether) it looks sweet.

i've been drinking water, but i was always told that drinking water while hungover doesn't really do much, because you're already de-hydrated or something???

and about losing weight, i'm off fast food for 14 days, and i'm definately going to limit my fast food intake (mostly because of money) but are there certain common household foods that really aren't good weight-wise? should i stay away from calories, carbs, fat, ? there's diets for everything but i don't know which one to believe works.

But it will flush the poison out your system. It works really.

The worst hangover i had was when i drank 1L of vodka and 1/2L or smurdolf ice in about 10 minutes.
From what i was told people had to cheak on me every 5minutes to see if i died, and my pluse went really low. The cure for that was to go canoeing in teh sea the next day :D

I got my 12" Premier Snare today. The depth is either 6 or 7", and it kicks so much as$. Im worried that it may even kick my own as$.
I also finished Dr Hermann Vogt's 1st Independance book today, and starting tomorrow im doing a one week drum school. 5 days, 20 hours of tuition, 70 pounds.

I am 14 and I am from Northern New Jersey. I have been playing my drums for roughly 6 months now, and I love it. I spend most of my time chillin with friends. I play my drums everyday till the whole neighborhood jumps and then I stop. I have a black Ludwig with Zildjian crash, ride, and splash cymbals. I will begin high school this year. One major charectaristic about me is that i am very tall. six feet at 14. anyway, i like comming to this forum and post and say all types of crazy s**t. anyway, cool.

High school at 14? I went to high school at 11...:amaze:
