us history is meh same with chem

Janeway 01-23-2008 06:19 PM

Ugh.

I'm reading Anne Stevenson's biography of Sylvia Plath and it's horrible. I can't focus on the landmark events of her life, because she devotes at the most three paragraphs to them, and then follows it up with twelve pages of inane, arbitrary banter about how psychotic and ill-adjusted Plath was. I got it because I figured it would be the middle ground --it wouldn't vilify Ted Hughes or make Plath out to be some exalted victim, but it's not. If anything, it does exactly the opposite.

I was actually going to read all of my sources for this project, but fuck it.

i'm 47 and it doesn't matter what grade you're in.

anyone could pass PE, us history is simply memorizing key events, chem in highschool only scratches the surface and is mainly memorization, pre-cal is basic stuff that simply builds off of what you already know.

chemistry sucks but you'll need to know it if you go on to college. it's pretty much a requirement for all majors these days.

edit: i turned 21 in november.
