kappala 08-05-2008 10:22 AM

its not our fault the schools teach us an obsolete measuring system.

the2stranger 08-05-2008 10:39 AM

True, but atleast stop using it then.

kappala 08-05-2008 10:40 AM

I'm so conditioned to imperial though. :(

4yearpro? 08-05-2008 10:41 AM

i have to use the metric in science. like one time we had to make up some animals for project in biology and he asked how tall they will be and i said 6ft. and he said how tall in the metric system and i was like o shittttttt

Tyler 08-05-2008 10:52 AM

The funny thing is, we use metric in Canada (allegedly) but I dont really know anyone who can tell you their height in m/cm and their weight in kg.

Slapping Penguin 08-05-2008 11:05 AM

Its the same strange thing in Australia, we all use the metric system but for some bizarre reason always report height in feet.

I know what you mean, I can tell you I'm six feet tall and about 160 pounds, but damn if I can tell you that in m/cm or kilograms.
