The bridge on my acoustic guitar just exploded.

define, "exploded" :p

i love my acoustic. It's sooo battered, i lost the peg for the high E string, so i'm holding it in with a screw. It looks so punk rawk.

I was playing a little chromatic run, ended on the low E, did a little vibrato and the bridge made a loud pop and the wood around the E, A, and D strings flew about 5+ feet away from where I was sitting.

Scared the sh[SIZE=2]it[/SIZE] out of me. I survived unscathed, though. :lol:

oh yeah well, i dont have a guitar, im more punk rawk




and thats crazy, is it a cheap ****ty acoustic?

I loved this acoustic...I got it for free when my aunt moved out fo her old house. Nice tone and the fretboard actually looks like cocobolo..It must me some type of figured rosewood or something.

Well, it's a no name from probably sometime in the 80's. There's a number on the back of the neck (serial, maybe?) and that's all I know about it.

Besides the some dents and scratches, it played and sounded really nice.

.. maybe it just didnt like you, so it exploded because you suck so bad :p

night! I know it's only 11:48pm, but I'm wreaked. So much to do ... gah! Sleep is just a PITA sometimes; you can skip a meal if you need to, but when you need sleep, you don't get a choice whether to stay awake or not. Your body is pretty much determined on that point - and caffeine does little to hinder it.
