I like Kezia loads, but this one just takes the cake in terms of awesome. I like my albums just a bit harder than Kezia, and this one is.
Bit naturally proggier as well, where Kezia felt forced in some places. |
I'm not gonna go see them... fighting Chicago traffic is too frustrating for one band. I think I'll order a hoodie from their site though. I've had my eye on it for a while now.
This one: http://protestthehero.bigcartel.com/product/grave-digger-hoody
I was going to order that hoodie as well but then I thought "I'm going to see them next week, why not get it there?" To anyone who has already been to one of the Silverstein tour shows: Are they selling the gravdigger hoodie? If so, do you know if they've marked up the price because its tour merch? |
What city/date? I'll ask.
Nokia Theater, Times Square, NY. On the...22nd, I believe. If they get at least 40 minutes, we'll probably end up going. |
after listening to fortress a lot, going back to kezia, it is perfect
:| turn soonest to the sea is awesome YOUR FLESH MEANS MORE THAN YOUUUU |

Like it or not, they're the headlining band. Not only has PTH had a history of touring with terrible bands, they've had a history of having terrible tour names too. They've already expressed a special kind of hatred for the name "Tour and Loathing" and in my opinion "Chilling across America" isn't any better. |
oh man i would pay not to go to a silverstein show tbh.
if protest the hero are supporting i have a feeling that many many people will leave before silverstein |
I know I would.
|
I know I would.
I'll second that. |
My friends and I are trying to find out what time Protest is playing. The plan is to show up for them, then leave.
|
Just assume they're co-headlining, since that was the case in Canada.
|
But everything's better in Canada...its like the US's liberal younger brother.
By the way, what the hell does Luke do when his band is touring the states for months on end? |
Obviously you're lying, about one thing or the other.
And I agree that the girl in the avatar is hideous D:
One of my friends (who is 24 I think) is marrying a hottie and they play D&D. It's possible. |

Totally possible, just rare. |
Shut the **** up about dungeons and dragons

Hey Cocaine, do you know if Arif has read Siddhartha? If he hasn't I've been thinking seriously about getting a copy to give to him when I see them at Nokia Theater on Friday.
|
I'd go to that show, but not one other band there justifies me going. If there was another I liked along with Protest, I'd go, but I don't want to sit through a bunch of **** bands waiting for them to come on.
That, and I need to save cash for other ****. |
I'd probably go see PTH next month if I had a lot more money and didn't plan on seeing a few other bands....

I guarantee he's read it. Multiple times in fact. That dude's bookshelf is bigger than my living room so I'm sure he's read Siddartha, hah. |
My shitty high school english teacher ruined that book for me.

It's an awesome book.

Bummer...kind of. I was expecting that he's read it but you never know.
It's an awesome book.
Agreed a thousand times over, while Hesse's writing is rather plain it fits well with complicated subject matter he is trying to relate to the reader. It will always be on my list of Top X books of all time. |
My high school English teacher had the most monotonous voice ever so i didn't bother paying attention when he would read it in class.
Now I kinda want to check it out again though. |
that was my science teacher
most monotonous voice in history |
I wish they made me read siddhartha in school. We've been reading "Lord of the Flies" two years in a row now..how i loathe that book.
|
that was my science teacher

"Blood Meat" is sweet.
Has anyone here wasted their time playing FFR on their MySpace? I almost beat "Blood Meat' like three times. It's pissing me off because I came so close. >=[ |
Lol, I remember playing a few of their older songs on that thing but I haven't played any of the new stuff.
