I don't have The Final Cut, just a few tracks from it. I'll probably pick it up someday, but it's not really high on my priority list right now.

When I saw the Machine they did an AMAZING cover of Sorrow. Since then I haven't been able to stop listening to it.

Has anybody heard of "Back Against The Wall"? Its a cover of the The Wall (the whole album) done by a bunch of prog artists. Ian Anderson, Dweezil Zappa, Chris Squire, Alan White, Steve Howe, Keith Emerson, Steve Morse, Steve Lukather, Robby Kreiger, Tommy Shaw, Rick Wakeman, lots of guys. Some of the songs sound kinda weird, but it's pretty cool for the most part.

And [i]Obscured By Clouds[/i] is great, especially Free Four, Wots Uh The Deal and The Gold It's In The. Classic, catchy, thoughtful rock songs.

Yeah, Back Against the Wall is widely avaliable. At least, I've seen it in my local Sam Goody and my local Sam Goody's selection is about as terrible as possible. So if they have it, you can probably find it anywhere.

And yeah, OBC is great. Wots Uh the Deal is probably my favorite off of it.

Depends on the situation. Nothing better than going down the highway playing The Gold It's In The at full volume, singing along. But Wots Uh The Deal and Mudmen is better when you're lying down in a hammock or the like, on a peaceful sunny day.

On An Island and Smile are my favorite tracks as of now.

The title track is my personal favorite, but I'm sure that'll change. I've only listened to the album 3 or 4 times all the way through.

I love that track too. Eh, I think being influenced by too many bands is a bad thing.

I usually end up being so caught up in Wish You Were Here that I can't fall asleep to it. :p

When I listen to Wish You Were Here, I just end up amazed in a trance. Like I'll be sitting in my school library doing homework, but if I put on that album, I just stop and start like staring into space. People can talk to me and I'll just be completely ignoring everything and focusing on the album. Happens to me everytime I listen to it. Incredible album.

Speaking of Wish You Were Here, I just downloaded a live show by a sweet jam band called U-Melt where they cover the whole album. I haven't listened to it yet, but I have pretty high expectations.

Thats one of the reasons I love that album. I think The Gold It's In The...... is one of Gilmour's most underrated guitar solo's. All the songs on that album reflect so many different moods. Its like the diversity of Pink Floyd put together on one album.
