That's true, but this seems like pretty reliable information. It was in a catalog with an album cover and everything.
doesnt streetlights keasby nights come out today?
Albums always come out on Tuesdays, always. So if something says a day that isn't a tuesday, it's more than likely incorrect. |
I don't understand the Tuesday thing. DVD's do it too.
|
Just a uniform day to release stuff, probably has a reason. Movies always come out on Wednesday in the main places (NY, LA, SF) and then Friday everywhere else.

i just bought a kn blue 12"
:) |
I envy you.
|
how much are those worth, you think? i dont know about collecting of them. i generally collect afi stuff
|
I'm sure it depends on how many were pressed.
|
i just bought a kn blue 12"
:)
Hah, weird, I broke out my KN vinyl yesterday for the first time in months (I just got my vinyl player in my uni room, having a bit of a vinyl kick). Mine's not blue though. It's completely clear with a slight pink splatter (looks like it's on there by accident, hah, awesome). |
The KN coloured vinyls are different colours.
|
any ideas where to find out how many of each colour were pressed?
|
You can probably find it if you search for it. Against Me! put the number of pressings of each type of vinyl on their site.

ITP: I Don't ususally listen to ska, but i like streetlight and Catch22, so...educate me, please, you know history and stuff....
thanks in advance... Or not, no biggie |
Quick fact for the new ska listener:
Most of Catch 22 broke off and formed Streetlight Manifesto. This is why Older Catch 22 and streetlight sound so similar. Catch 22 is still around, but with a different line-up, and they are generally less popular. |

Seriously, WTF.^^

Catch 22 was formerly headed by Tomas Kalnoky. He left the band and recorded some acoustic stuff with Bandits of the Acoustic Revolution, as well as starting Streetlight Manifesto. Catch 22 has 3 full-length albums I believe; Keasbey Nights (everyone's favorite, and for good reason - Tomas was still in the band), Alone in a Crowd, and Dinosaur Sounds. Alone in a Crowd is garbage compared to Keasbey Nights, but in reality, it's still a decent ska album. Dinosaur Sounds, from what I've heard and heard other people say is just not very good. Catch 22 has a new album out in June called Permanent Revolution.
Streetlight Manifesto (supposedly) is releasing Keasbey Nights volume 2, which I expect to be spiced up versions of the original songs. That's supposed to come out in March. Aside from that, their only record is Everything Goes Numb, which was released in 2003. Bandits of the Acoustic Revolution has an EP out called A Call to Arms. It's very good. |
