A live dvd is suppose to be out sometime this year according to Trent. No exact date yet. They recorded two (el paso,tx and Oklahoma City) of the shows from this past winter tour. This was posted by Rob Sheridan about the dvd:

^That'd be freakin' great! That damn 'Closure' dvd has taken very long though...i'm beginning to lose hope. I remember Trent mentioning that the thing was done and ready to go...something about it no longer being in his hands and the release being up to the label now. I wonder why it's taking their label so long to re-release it.

Closure will most likely never be released. I'm surprised you haven't given up sooner.

i liked pretty hate machine and downward spiral disliked greatly with teeth though (liked every day is exactly the same) what else do you recomend?

Well, i'll have to go with The Fragile as well...amazing album. However, make sure you get your hands on Broken also. If you really liked PHM and TDS, I'm more than positive you'll really like that EP.

Because With Teeth really didn't do much for me, with the exception of Beside You In Time.

I think he should have an album coming out either this or next year. He said once he got sober he was able to finally start writing at a consistent pace and actually had quite a few songs left over after WT that he wasn't sure what he was going to do with.

You're not the only one to think that, but if you're wishing he was still an addict and being self-destructive solely because he made better music when he was, that's irresponsible not only as a fan but as a person in general.
Personally, I think the music and lyrics have not degraded in quality, and the only thing I've noticed that's changed significantly has been the conceptual aspect of his albums. i.e. TDS and Fragile were both concept albums, and they were made while he was a self-destructive addict, and WT was made when he was sober but isn't a concept album.

hm... for me WT is a concept album.
for me its the story, how he got sober, with all the up and downs... listen to the songs in order and you will see that there is a story behind it. (imo)

Eh, I respect your opinion, but I don't agree. I think of WT as more of a collection of songs a'la Pretty Hate Machine (but not terrible like PHM). Some of the songs do have similar themes or subject matter, but I don't think it's enough to qualify it as a concept album.

I was always kinda amazed on how fast this thread fell, I always came back to see it on like page 11 and almost cried.

PHM is a great album. So is With Teeth, but I'm spoiled by the surround sound mix of it. It's so incredible like that.
