I had that happen. I was looking outside one day and see this asian woman walking up to my driveway and start rumaging through the recycling. She went to every other house too, it was kind of sad to see.

depends, but in ontario it is. it's ridiculously taxed here, and it's a total monopoly because the liquor board of ontario is the largest purchaser of alcohol in the world. you can only get beer at the beer store or the LCBO, and i think even the beer store goes through the lcbo anyways.

here, a good deal is when you can get a 24 for like 28 bucks. cheapest legal single tallies are like 1.65 i think?

Whuuuut, I just bought 24 0,5l cans for a little over €13. Granted, it's not quality beer, but it's okay. The cheapest 0,5l cans here are about €0,40 a piece.
