brent is basing his criticism of my ability to sing entirely on a bunch of rough recordings where I was learning to use my microphone and trying to find my voice, posted with a full acknowledgement that it wasn't an attempt at a professional recording or performance. whereas he complains endlessly about people who don't go for music with good production then releases entire albums of stuff that wouldn't even make for acceptable DM b-side/demo compilations

spoken word sort of material is the most effective with my voice, i've had plenty of positives responses in that regard so i'll stick with it. but Brent is stupid anyway, he said the same thing about Silverfang when he was first starting out, and he's a pro now. go figure
