Pazz 06-09-2006 03:34 PM

I need to sit back and relax tonight. I'm tired from today and tomorrow is going to be fun, well it better be.

Mute Print 06-09-2006 03:38 PM

I have a pretty fun weekend lined up. I'm going to a show tonight, and possibly two shows tomorrow.

Firecracker 06-09-2006 03:40 PM

I got work off this weekend so i'm going to enjoy a nice weekend in.
I can't walk. :(

Pazz 06-09-2006 03:41 PM

Nice. I went to school this morning and we had student appreciation day, which was lame. So we all left at lunch and then went to my friend Sasha's house. There was about 12 of us there. Then we ordered pizza, ate it and watched the start of th Ring 2 but we decided to go swimming. After swimming pretty much everyone left except 6 of us, 2 of them left, then I finally left.

Tomorrow is a party at Sasha's house for her birthday. It start's at 2 and goes until whenever. So it's going to be like a 12 hour long party.

Mute Print 06-09-2006 03:42 PM

Sounds like fun.

I really wish school would be over already. Just one more day, then exams. :-\

Firecracker 06-09-2006 03:43 PM

That sounds immense.
I wish my GCSEs would finish already.

Pazz 06-09-2006 03:44 PM

I have all next week, Monday, and then exams start. The first two days of exams we are supposed to go to our afternoon classes, but everyone skips them. What are they going to do? Put us in detention when there is no school left?

We don't have classes on exam days. I think my school realizes that everyone would just skip anyway.

Firecracker 06-09-2006 03:46 PM

Haha, yeah, we can get kicked out and stopped from revising in school because everyone's playing with frisbees outside other lessons in the quad, and kicking footballs around and hitting the windows, climbing on the shelters because the wind took the frisbee up there, and catapulting apple cores over the school.
It's quite funny really.

Untitled 06-09-2006 03:47 PM

i went on study leave 4 weeks before my exams started.

Get Fighted 06-09-2006 03:51 PM

Hmmm.. this weekend i will be going to the gala. And hopefully getting some beer :)

How many you got left? I've only got 3, but that includes 2 difficult ones.
Maths is easy, but Chemistry and Physics are hard.
Our year got banned from entering the school until we had to go into the exam yesterday, but I never found out what happened because they were kicked out when I got there. I think that all the chavs were messing around.

On the day of my last exam, it will be so stupid. I will finish my exam, no high school ever again. Then walk home, and I have to go the friggin' dentist in the afternoon. It just kills the mood of partying and having fun.

That post made me laugh.

My school used to do it this way, then stopped it for first semester because they realized. And then now they went back to it. All the teachers and students think it's a stupid idea.
That post made me laugh.
Yeah, I just re-read that post and it is written pretty badly.

yourstruly 06-09-2006 06:53 PM

Lastnight I went to my first decent show, which was fun/hardwork. Throughout the night, a fat guy stage dived onto my head, someguy elbowed me in the face, my feet were constantly stood on and I almost lost my shoe when someone stood on it and it came off. I was in the mosh pit the whole night. How long do your ears having to be ringing for before it's safe to say the ringing isn't gonna go away?

i think the ringing usually lasts three days

what bands did you see?

yourstruly 06-09-2006 07:25 PM

It was a NZ battle of the bands thing called "Rockquest", the regional finals for the Bay of plenty/waikato region. 14 bands played 2 songs each. It was good, lots of pop/punk bands.

ZaaR 06-09-2006 07:27 PM

only 2 songs? when there is a battle of a bands here, it's like 15 bands playing 30 minutes worth of material

yourstruly 06-09-2006 07:39 PM

Are you serious?, that's like 7 and a half hours. Oh yeah a band that's famous in NZ called Falter played a small set at the end.
It was about a 2 hour show, and by the end I was screwed. So more than that I would be dead.

ZaaR 06-09-2006 07:42 PM

they usually go from 5pm 'till about 3 or 3:30 in the morning.

Pazz 06-09-2006 07:51 PM

What's going on guys?

The rockquest is lame now. A couple of years ago the bands were alot better, atleast where i'm from. If I had have bought my bass and got a couple of my friends to pull the rest of the positions we probably could have won, which shows how shit it is. I'll probably still go, ours is next weekend.
What's going on guys?
Absolutely nothing. I'm watching Session 9. I saw something about it in one of the threads in the Media Center so I decided to check it out.

Pazz 06-09-2006 08:55 PM

Heh. Same here. I'm talking to a couple of people over MSN and thinking on getting off and watching a movie.

Hello, my dear friends in the pop-punk community.

I am pleased to announce that your leader, I, Cob, has purchased Risk, the so-called "Game of global domination".

I am quite pleased with it. For the last several months, I could not find the set I used to own. Tomorrow, your leader, I, Cob, shall be holding a game with my colleagues and associates, and I expect it to be of great pleasure to myself and to the others. I proclaim, Risk is a nobleman's game!

Until I return from my time spent studying the fine contest,

Au revoir,
Robert

NO REALLY THOUGH IM STAYING HERE TO TALK.
