Yeah man, we were actually in contact with them a few times. Not that bad actually. My band was tagged as playing at the O2 in Newcastle on Last.fm and it was them lol

Southampton night life is fucking fantastic. So many clubs and stuff. Some really rough areas though, seen so many muggings and fights. Also its really expensive on the weekends because all the people from the surrounding areas come down because there's fuck all for them to do wherever they are.

How's newcastle? You becoming a proper geordie like?
Good craic man.

The night life here kicks the **** out boro in all fairness. Still feel I haven't ventured out good and proper yet. Went to a club on friday called Revolution and from what I remember it was bouncing. Still need to find a place where they play decent house or dubstep though.

Seen a fair few fights myself and luckily I've only had one minor confrontation.

And all my mates back home reckon I sound like a geordie now but I don't think my accent has changed that much. People in my building thought I was from newcastle originally until I properly educated them on the finer points of the smoggie accent.

lol sounds awesome. There's a revolution down here, probably part of some same company or something. not been yet. Went to one club that had some awesome dubstep, only thing was it was heaving. Had some nice ambient stuff downstairs though.
DJ Skream also played down here but I missed it, absolutely gutted.

2muchket! 11-01-2009 10:18 PM

Missed seeing Benga, Skream and Rusko because I was in hospital which ****ing sucked.

Might see Eric Prydz at a club called Digital sometime this month. Got told by my flatmate theres a decent-ish dubstep night on a monday. She said they tend to play a lot more of the mainstream stuff and a lot of re-mixes but she said it was worth it overall.

Hows the course going anyway ?

Jaundice 11-01-2009 10:20 PM

oops just puked all on my bed and laptop charger :upset:

**** i just changed the sheets from last time, luckily there's a huge tear in this sheet and most of it got on the mattress and not the sheets

Angmar 11-01-2009 10:21 PM

Sounds like a great time wish I could do that.

Jaundice 11-01-2009 10:22 PM

Contrary to popular believe, there's really not all that much to do down here

Hospital? What happened dude?

My course rules, at first I admit I hated it and wanted to leave but now I just wanna get into uni and do some work pretty much every day. Loads of wasters on my course though that's the only problem but we've been assured they'll all be gone by christmas lol.

How's law? Is it tough?

illmitch 11-01-2009 10:26 PM

Nearly OD'd hahaha

Good to hear as well about the course man, I've heard already in such a small space of time about how people hate their courses and I'm the direct opposite. The course itself is so well set out with the mix of lectures and seminars. There is a lot of work to prepare for each seminar but only one of those is weekly and the other two are every fortnight so it ain't too bad.

The Feeding 11-01-2009 10:28 PM

what's up ya'll?

watching titan maximum and being annoyed that once again I can't sleep and start work for the week again in less than 10 hours

Sounds good man, well, obviously not the OD'ing part lol.

I take it you're not in early tomorrow lol? I got a week off from lectures and stuff but I have to do my assignments in this week so I can't fuck around lol.

2muchket! 11-01-2009 10:30 PM

I have to be at uni in 5 and half hours and I haven't been to sleep yet.

Ahh well atleast your given the option to do your assignments in your own leisure ey ?

thats ages away man

The Feeding 11-01-2009 10:31 PM

I'm starting to really hate my job, happens way to often

I get lazy and start blowing it off like I did last week, need to change that pattern. I know but I need to get some sleep and it doesn't look likely

illmitch 11-01-2009 10:32 PM

to make matters worse, 30 rock has progressed to the episodes ive already seen with my parents but i can't skip them because i'd feel bad

Jaundice 11-01-2009 10:32 PM

I need a job, I haven't had one since that weird period a few months ago when I actually had a job and girlfriend and everything for like two days

The Feeding 11-01-2009 10:34 PM

I worked at the same place for 2.5 years and since that time I have I gotten a new job every 3-4 months. My laziness gets the best of me and none have paid well enough to really care about

Jaundice 11-01-2009 10:35 PM

i've never worked some where longer than two weeks

The Feeding 11-01-2009 10:37 PM

I used to be really responsible, oddly enough when I first moved out on my own. I was able to take care of myself and my girl no problem, than I moved home and got really lazy. As long as I can pay my bills and make enough to drink I'm happy but it's going to have to change if my girl and I move back in when she's done with school

Angmar 11-01-2009 10:37 PM

I've only held summer jobs tbh.

The Feeding 11-01-2009 10:38 PM

I've been working full time since I dropped out at 18, with a few random unemployed spots here and there

2muchket! 11-01-2009 10:38 PM

Worked for an entire year at a shop before coming to uni. Was my first job as well.
