Wish I could help chief, but upbeat+Metallica doesn't really narrow it down much. If you think it's off of Load or Reload it might be Fuel. That's about all I can give you. What you can do is go to Amazon.com and listen to the 30 second samples from the songs until you find it.

awesome man thanx

oh to whoever said the Blackened tab is wrong is in fact wrong themselves. My g/f got me the AJFA tab book for my b-day la couple years ago and as far as i can play its accurate

NamJam 03-08-2005 06:28 AM

Why Metallica, why?

I understand that this might not have anything to do with the current flow of the thread, but I'm too lazy to read through 600+ pages.
May I first state, that IMO, Metallica is THE BEST Thrash/Heavy Metal band in existance, and have been for the last 20+ years.

But right now, I can't be more pissed off at them. I listened to St. Anger, and I'm like "What the f*ck?", I then decided to watch their documentary, 'Some Kind of Monster'. Right near the end, where they were having auditions for their new bass player, right as Robert Trujillo starts to play, they play their old songs. Battery, etc. PERFECTLY FINE. So, why in the blue hell did they almost completely change the way they played? They told Kirk no solos ffs... no solos!!! What the hell?! Kirk even send that he didn't want to follow the trend of nu metal. Which all sounds the same. But now, their just starting to follow the trend they started which has been totally f*cked up. Metallica's 'Black Album' (Which is actually called 'Metallica') seemed to me the last album they would release that would be worth listening to all the way through, ruling out S&M and Garage Inc. Don't get me wrong, Load and Reload have SOME decent songs, (that very small list consisting of Ain't My bitch, until it sleeps, bleeding me, mama said, the unforgiven II and Low Man's Lyric) Other songs of course are decent, but they aren't Metallica. Now I'm only 16 years old, wouldn't that kinda make me lean towards today's music, rather than completely shun it out, and listen to good, older music? I seriously hate music nowadays because it's just crap. It all sounds the same. I sincerely hope Metallica can pick up the slack of St. Anger with their new album, they are my favourite band of all time, and the only songs I try to learn on my guitar..(got master of puppets down pat :D)

These are all just my opinions, thanks for reading ^^
Drum tabs are awful. Sheet music is far superior. Learning to read music is key.
